And Duke will move up in the rankings.

I'm honestly surprised Duke won tonight. Absent the ND loss and the RS drama, they probably lose, but still surprised UVA folded like that. Thought their upperclassmen were above choking games away. Apparently not.

Really just means that UK is #1, and nobody should be #2-4. Just skip 2-4. UK #1, Wisky #5, Gonzaga #6, etc.

Still think UVa wins the ACC (with 2 losses) and makes the E8 at least, but this was a kick in the nuts IMO.

As for the Cats, yet another boring *** SEC game. Not sure how to keep these guys focused without freaking them out about going undefeated. Trust in Cal I guess. At this point, I can't see anyone beating us if we are playing even a B- level tourney game. Some SEC rando might get us, but in the tourney? Nope.

Not happy UL won, but looking on the bright side, at least UNC lost. 1 more game up in the all time rankings. Plus, they were playing really well. Hopefully this 18 pt collapse ruins their season, and they tank a few games. What a miserable performance in the 2nd half.

Will Feinstein vote Duke #1, UVA #2, UK #3 this week? I hope so. I love how much it pains ***** *** bitches like JF that UK is a dominant team this year.

I'd question the assumption that Kentucky is best served by coming out in 5th gear every night and murking every team they face by 50 points. They're aiming for 40 total games here. That would be an exhausting pace to keep up. Exhausting as much mentally as physically. Outside of the Ole Miss and TAMU games, they've shown that when these 3rd tier SEC teams make a small run they have no problem ramping it up and slamming the door on them.

I don't think Cal is concerned with this pace at this point in the season. Run it in third gear, keep the margin north of 15 points or so, if somebody doesn't come to play against us, blow their doors off to remind everyone what's up. Likewise if somebody brings extra heat, turn it up and get the win. Down the stretch they'll turn it on like Secretariat and be ready to reap some souls. 40 games is a long haul. Nothing wrong with settling into a rhythm for a week or two as long as they kick in when needed.

Amazing that it gives them no pause or contemplation how Georgia fans, coaches, players hate Grantham. Hell he is the only thing that could motivate Richt to prepare and have his team ready to kick ***.

Or that he went behind their own damn backs 2 weeks to signing day chasing an NFL job.

Good thing they padded stats early in season defensively. Last 5 games:

166 pts (33 pts per game), 2060 yards, (412 yds per game)

Officially 34" of snow in the last storm. A couple inches a few days ago. And now another 18" in this next round.

TOUCH. THIS. ****.

I was going to post my overdue "the winter sucks and I hate living up here for it" post earlier today and decided not to based on you and Dennis. Have shoveled 3 times today and about to head out for the 4th. It's not remotely as bad as what you've had, and it has me contemplating if I should stick it out another 17 months or just end all my misery now.

Past 3-4 inches, snow touching sucks.

Katie Perry spends way too much time trying to be weird, and not enough time trying to be hot. Such a shame, because she's amazing (when she wants to be).

Don't hold back on my account. After all the hype, the storm last week was pretty tame in the city. Obviously much worse near Boston.

Great, great game tonight. Was pretty excited to see the Pats lose on a 1 up of the Helmet Catch. But that pick was badass as well. So dumb to throw it there.

-That halftime show was ridiculous. Sharks were easily the best part.

-Hell of a spread at the house for a really small gathering. Wings, sausage crostini, stuffed jalapeno, broccoli slaw, meatballs, dip, hash brown casserole, derby pie, shrimp dumplins, shrimp cocktail. Whew.

-This week should fly by, Miami/Key West coming up.

-I kind of get the play cal,l although man in hindsight it looks awful. Try to trick them with a pass on 2nd, then run, TO, run on 3rd/4th if you need to. However, probably should of went run, TO, pass, pass/run. That one is going to haunt Seattle for a long time.

-F*ck February. Seriously. My least favorite month of the year by far and it looks like it's going to be a normal February starting out with miserable cold, rain and snow. Bleh.

Football coaches love to get Too Cute when it comes to goalline playcalling. Just run the effing ball. A 10-year-old mashing buttons on Madden wouldn't have called that play.

Spake ftw.

-That Super Bowl...what can you say? Flat out awesome. Even surpassed the hype, which is basically impossible to do.

-I tuned in at 6:30 on the dot, which increased the experience big time for me...usually I'm beyond annoyed by kickoff, but that wasn't the case.

...made 1 bet, and hit a nice parlay on Pats/Over. Still can't believe that finish/call.

-Big time in Cincy Saturday. I've partied with Chad all over the South, for about 14 years now...and that was the most drunk I've ever seen him. Ever. I'll leave it at that....we had a blast tho.

I think Belichick jedi mind tricked Carroll by not calling that TO. made Sea over-think and panic.

Seen them both in person now, I give Spake the edge.

Still both minor league compared to Allie LaForce and Samantha Ponder, IMO.

I was wondering why he didn't call one as the clock ticked down and then boom, interception & game over...

to avoid giving Carroll & Wilson time to think clearly and calmly. and it worked to perfection.

(or there was no point, it would have just delaying the inevitable Sea TD & loss. whatever)

in '09 & '10 Joker had Cobb on one side of the field, Matthews on the other, a burner in Locke at RB and a somewhat competent 4th & 5th year quarterback throwing too them. and didnt manage better than 7 wins. Mercy.

This years version of Feb is pretty tight if you are an OCD type though

4 weeks, 28 days, starting on a Sun & ending on a Sat. very clean, very even.

* Great to see the wodied one and wcc on Saturday. OTR is pretty cool these days.

* Watched the UK game at the clubhouse of my nephew's condo complex, where we were having a 50th bday party for my sister. One TV. Had to fight off a Louisville fan and a UT fan from switching the game over to the end of Duke/UVA.

* Taco bar Superbowl Party was a success. But I will be eating ground beef, chicken, pork salsa verde taco salads all damn week. If anyone is hungry, come on over. I cooked waaaay too much.

* Touch the Patriots and touch Tom Brady.

I'm not and it still sucks.

It's currently 27, the sun is out and it's snowing.

-I'd pay money to see Johnson and Lee karaoke "She thinks my Tractor's sexy."

-Props to the SEC for cannibalizing itself. Just can't have nice things.

Oh, and regarding my Shot-haters ---> We did double-digits on Saturday, and Chad bought at least 5 rounds himself, TS. Never fails -- you guys are all talk when it comes to "hating" shots.

Rhinehaus has one called Cinnamon Roll Rhino, which is Rum, House-made Horchata, and Fireball. Maybe the most delicious shot I've ever had...I guess everyone agreed, b/c after I bought the first round, they kept coming about every 20 minutes until we left.

Sturgill was a solid show Saturday night. Some pushing and shoving started up close to the stage, and he stopped the song in the middle, said something to calm them down, then finished with, "One ******* at a time, and right now it's MY TIME!"

-Kentucky Football recruiting, shew. The week leading up to Harris was about as positive as you can be about the program. Since he went to Bama I think we've had 7 flips and another one coming today. You can see why I was so pissed. Pretty much still getting kicked in the nuts. Staff better put up some W's this season.

-UVa getting Duke and UNC off L's, that's not a very lucky draw.

-UGa
another game that is certain to be ugly. That'll be 3 awful games in a row.
