They had Shepard picked off 1st and in a run down, Frazier went off from third and got in safe at home, and Shepard was safe back at first because no one was covering. Jim believed that it wasn't designed. Yes I'm hoping that Frost's days are over too.

and they were stuck covering home, right fielder was picking daisies. It did not look like it was designed on M2M, just looked like Shepard got caught in a rundown and Auburn **** the bed.

cohen gave the signal then said after the game that it was designed. jaron isn't going to have trouble getting back to the bag.

The pitcher was scared shitless that Shepherd was going to steal 2nd. He threw over there several times before the play occurred. Shepherd appeared to be toying with them the whole time.

i have seen that play at least 3 time during the polk era once in hawaii '85, once in a minneapolis season-opening tournament circa '90 and another time in a series at dudy noble. i'm sure it has been done a lot more times.....it is a sucker-play with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 3rd, particularly if there is a rocket on 3rd
