cause this looks to be the first year that some folks that want seats at davis wade may be left out. Hell...when has their ever been a waiting list for football season tickets? <div>
</div><div>If the money is there, and the plans are drawn up... what exactly is the holdup? Who cares if it is no where near done in time for the season. Just something to get Herm Edwards to talk about on the broadcasts this year.</div>

Glad to see the seed money in place but the planned 2014 completion date idea, to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the stadium, just flat out sucks!!!!! It needs to be finished by 2013...no excuse to take 2.5 - 3 years for an EZ enclosure!

Probably a year to get everything coordinated, plus permitting. It takes a while. Probably won't see any actual construction until mid 2012 at the earliest.

This needs to begin as soon as possible. Even if its under construction for a season or two I think it'll be good publicity for us. Are there any new illustrative drawings floating around? You would think that if the money is in place that they would have more concrete illustrative drawings out there somewhere. The first couple I've seen have been pretty different.

I'm not sure who is involved in the permit process. I'd guess that IHL or the State has some say in the matter as well as Oktibehha County. They could split the package and run with a Land Disturbance permit submission that would allow them to begin excavation and site work. That would certainly provide evidence that the project really is going to happen.

They need to at least finalize the design and plaster the images all over the large banners that hang from the stadium. They could even place renderings throughout the stadium showing how certain areas will be affected. I hope they work this expansion to maximum effect for future ticket sales, donations, recruiting, etc..</p>

Could just be talk but I think the pumps for the drainage system and a lot of stormwater go through that parking lot. If so that's going to be a fun knot to untangle.

It would be great to have crane's in the background during football season!
