Just feels like they are trying to hard with the decor but serving sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. Stick to what you are good at. I understand why they moved but it won't ever replace the old grill.

I can't get over its transformation. Seems like they want it to be more like Harvey's or The Grill in Tupelo. I don't understand why a place in a college town that specializes in CHEESE STICKS wants to appear "fancier" than it is.
We went Friday night. Cheese sticks good. Garlic fries bad, soggy and very strong. I want the old fries and the Texas wrap back. I had a turkey sandwich that was below average at best. I with you DS. Give me the old stuff.
I've now been to the new Grill twice. That's one more time than I said I would go after the first visit. There was nothing at all that I liked about it. Food was mediocre except for the garlic fries which were atrocious!!!!
Sometimes, change is good. This is not one of those times. Go back to the old menu and remodel the interior to bring back the old atmosphere.
I'm just waiting for someone to take over the Cotton Dist Cafe and turn it back into a place like THE GRILL!!!
I use to call in all the time and walk toget my food(I love the district)But Ihave gone to the new location a couple of times and never see many college age people there anymore. I know they wanted to go the more upscale direction but hell, your in a college town. The food as a whole is not near as good. Some of it is but alot of it is not
It no longer is a place you can go if you want to eat somewhere and have games on the TV before or after the MSU game. Can't believe how few televisions they have in there.
