I really thought the defense played a great 2nd half. Maybe Georgia took their foot off the gas, but we looked really good to me.
1. After picking on Banks in the 1st half, he shut it down on his side in the second. Wish he had played that way all game.
2. Our run defense really stepped it up.
3. I was very pleased to see Slay jump that route and take it to the house. I had high hopes for him. Wouldn't mind him replacing broomfield right now, or atleast getting even snaps.
4. As a whole i believe the defense held Georgia to under 100 yards in the 2nd half.

Say what you want, but the defense seems to be progressing while the offense moves the opposite direction.

Ga. did not take their foot off of the gas, but they did go conservative, with a lead. Trying to avoid a possible pick 6.

In the second half our Dgot got much more aggressive...because we were forced to it. No more bend but don't break,.... but attack.
Where has this **** been this year?, we finally put some pressure on the QB.

I was proud of the defense, particularly the 3 interceptions and keeping UGA from scoring after Swedenburg dropped that punt snap.

OTOH, UGA was playing very conservatively in the second half, because they had an 18 point lead. In the 4th quarter, UGA put together two drives of over 4 minutes that seriously milked the clock and stopped any hopes of an MSU comeback. One drive ended in the pick six, and the next drive ended with a missed FG.
