Several plays later Cox got a hit after he threw it and there was no talk after or anything and it was clean. There's nothing wrong with what happened. It was funny i thought.

According to newspaper reports here at the time (after he became a standout at NC State, and then the Chargers), no SEC school recruited him as a QB.
He has a brother also that I believe signed with LSU, but I haven't heard much from him.
The family is from the Athens area, and I understand they sorta moved around to get in school districts that would further the FB chances of the boys.
