Oh, he just misspoke the name. I thought you meant he called him Lippy like the character from Lonesome Dove.

This guy: lippy.jpg

I do think Coacy Lebby looks a bit like the character Roscoe from the mini-series:

Unfortunately that's about what I look like too, so I have no room to judge.

He mentioned not being able to play an exhibition game in college. I agree to an extent that I would like to see us finish spring practice with a real game vs a decent D2 team. Somebody like one of the Dakota or Montana teams or someone ranked in the top 10 of D2. The game wouldn't count in anybody's standings, but would provide a good challenge with a full crowd and all the pomp and circumstance.....full band, cheerleaders, announcers, music, etc. Sure would make the Spring Game much more attractive.

Interesting listening to this guy. He has some sort of speech impediment. His speech patterns and syllable emphasis remind me of Forrest Gump at times. And I don't mean that in a mean way. I actually like listening to this guy and he seems like an honest, good guy. I hope we hang a 100 on them.

If a Husky dog and a Bulldog got into a fight, the Husky would have ZERO chance.....and so it will be this Saturday!

I thoroughly enjoyed the press conference with this coach and players. He actually gave down to earth and candid answers, that had substance…not just same old coach speak. The coach and players seem to be really excited to experience the environment in our stadium.

heard one of his press conferences last year. He’s a guy I would want my son to play for. And a guy I wouldn’t mind seeing coach us somewhere down the line if the situation is right. Of course all that great but he has to win games.

Great defensive coach but his offenses have struggled. I'm sure he will have his team ready to run through a brick wall for him Saturday.
