It is not exactly good PR for the state to have a klan rally at a major university getting national press. </p>
most outsiders perceive Mississippi as being like this anyway. Not sure how much more damage can be done to the state's reputation. But hundreds of thousands of people watching Gameday associate Ole Miss with the Klan. In the South, this will only help MSU recruit students and athletes, you have to believe.
Besides, to me, it's funny that Ole Miss keeps getting sucked into its past because of the actions of a bunch of dumb administrators and students. And also, that they dare call MSU people rednecks after this kind of spectacle.

to think this is going to have some huge effect on the perception of our state is something I can't buy.
and I assure you, if they Klan was marching on our campus, I wouldnt' care what some hippie in California thinks about it. I'd be more worried about what some o-linemen from the Delta thinks about it.
