PC scores two touchdowns in 26 seconds as first half is ending -- lead Rice 24 - 10.

Earlier, Caravan got forfeit victory over Hales.

Rice had 6 turnovers - granted PC had 3. But a flat first half - Rice settled down in 2nd half
PC should be fine next year - good group coming back. Bad loss for Rita at home.

One last point -- the Providence crowd at Brother Rice was pitiful. Your kids deserve better than that. They won you a state title last year. Where were the students?

I was surprised that few of PC fans came out - granted they were out of the playoffs, but I think that they've read Feeto's Blog on the hazards/discomfort/poor sight lines of the stands coupled with the mean Father's Club members who spit in the food/hot chocolate sold on that side that it has had an impact on visitor attendance.

Eventually he'll grow up and those silly posts will end. I have no problems with the Rice facilities.

Game of adjustments Rice just came out after a flat first half and made some big plays. Blaine had a huge game. PC has some nice things in place for next year with Drake Warfield Malone and a really good soph class. Silver lining for Rice is as bad a hole as they dug they now have enough talent to compensate for that to come back.cannot play that bad for a period in 8A though.

I have actually seen way less PC fans at a game.In '10 last week at Gately when they were also 2-6. A concern for MC in the back of my mind is Rice looked so flat first after a bye. MC has pretty much had two byes now heading into Loyola. A bye can work in your favor to heal I'm sure but MC now last month when you throw in that DLS game 55-0, I just don't know what to expect.

Injuries have been the demise of the Celtics season last night they had 2 sophs starting at db and a lb and 2 d lineman rotating on the oline to try to stay fresh. My opinion still stands that no matter what talent they have coming back if the offensive playbooks isn't opened up the results won't change. As far as rice their offense can only carry them so far. Defense have been inconsistent and special teams need to secure the ball better.
Also think in the playoffs you will see a lot more of Blain and smalling playing defense like they have the last 2 weeks

The one and only. We need you now Crusader fans, we need you NOW!!! Speaking of legendary Crusader announcers, back in the 91 season, Bob Twardy announced the first home playoff game at Joe Johnston Field. It was a Wednesday day game and h was off his rocker. BR upset HF after a senior db by the name of Badke batted down a pass in the end zone to seal the victory.

I was at that game against HF. HF was huge favorites coming in and ran the run n shoot.
Great victory for rice, Badke had a huge game on D. Rice running back ran for two bills
