Seems like many people claim it was "the best ever". I don't get it - it used to be more about the performance and less about the spectacle. Also, the sexuality was over the top to the point it made me a little uncomfortable watching with my daughter.

Felt mailed-in to me. Shakira just doesn't have the career to warrant being on this big of a stage. J-Lo does, but it's more of the same music.

The people who loved it where USA Apologists. It was girl-power and appropriate to include other nationalities music.

U2 was the bomb a number of years ago, and Prince killed it in the pouring rain. Most have been pretty lame though

One of the best halftime shows in my opinion. Prince and the band actually singing and playing an electric guitar in the rain was insane and it was a miracle someone wasn't electrocuted. The producers called him before to discuss the bad weather and if they should just fake it and he told them no and asked if they could make it rain harder. :joy:
