Who's the guy singing? Not bad, and pretty spectacular presentation. Pretty sure he's lip-synching though.

I have no idea. I guess I am getting old. Because I have not seen a single musician on tonight I recognize.

And yes, they all lip sync. Too big a show not to.

This years halftime show will never match the epic *** shaking contest from last year. That was the best ever.

Thats The Weekend. I think it sucks personally. I would say way too much presentation and too much crowd noise.

It’s pitiful. Eric Church was more entertaining singing the national anthem and I’m not a country music fan!

I love The Weeknd. Guy is super talented and puts on a great show. Thought it was a great halftime show.

I thought he was singing himself. Not sure though.

How much did Pepsi pay NFL to sponsor the halftime show y’all think?

Yeah, Shakira was phenomenal. Never have cared too much for Jennifer Lopez though.

They might not have shown the entire halftime. Said all the performances were online, which I took to mean we they might have had something we didn't see.

Maybe they’ll get The Allman Brothers for next year’s show and make a lot of you guys happy. **

I didn't watch one second of it. I turned to youtube and watched music videos.

If the Chiefs can't do any better than a handful of field goals he will. But yeah, a couple of the calls (one on Chris Jones) was marginal at best. But the big PI call toward the end of the 2nd quarter was legit.

Somehow I don't think the Allman Brothers, even if they were still active, would fit the social justice profile required.

I thought he sounded a lot like Bruno Mars and wasn't really that terrible as everybody is making it sound

Can’t exactly call him up but Prince in the rain was spectacular. Even God had a flare for the dramatic performance

I can see people not liking his music. Not exactly my favorite either but I thought the performance was fine. It looked like he was actually singing and he didn’t sound bad. Definitely seen worse but seen better too.

It wasn't a bad performance at all; his music sounded fine, and it was consistent. You have to have some Peeping Nips or political controversy these days to have what is generally considered to be a "good" halftime show at the Superbowl.

I don't really care for The Weekend, but I'll give him this: The NFL suggested he perform a virtual halftime show because they wouldn't have the personnel to assemble and remove a halftime stage, but he insisted on performing live. He put up $7 million of his own money to design the performance in the stands. It would be disappointing to find out he lip synced after going through all that trouble.
