You named a bunch of teams with nba players who games came on the radio. I’m willing to bet on Norcom’s team against the ol heads. They beat some good out of state private teams as a VA public school.
Looked up Norcum. Smith nice player but the list I gave you had generational talent on those teams. Norcum not in conversation
Norcom 2010-2011 is arguably top 5 greatest teams in VHSL history. Beat Findlay Prep, Word of God and DeMatha that year. Findlay was the #1 team in America when Norcom beat them and DeMatha was loaded. Saw Norcom beat Findlay at Woodrow Wilson in Portsmouth with my own eyes. Doe Doe, Jay Canty, DeCarlos Anderson, Dev Patterson, Tweet Mack. All Downtown Portsmouth boys and all were D1 recruits .. Them and that 2010 Petersburg team are the best VHSL teams I’ve ever seen in my life. Norcom beat Petersburg in 2010 for the ship, tells you how special they were those two years.

I'm sorry, I just go back a lot further than you do. I saw Petersburg with Moses Malone. I saw Harrisonburg with Ralph Sampson, I saw PH Roanoke beat DeMatha , the best team in South Carolina and Lonzo Mournings team handily. I saw TC Williams go undefeated and average close to a 90 a game. I'm sure Norcom was good but you are considering this century only. Those 4 teams had generational talents.

Since you brought up 2010 Petersburg. Did you happen to go to the region championship or semis that year with John Marshall vs Petersburg at the Siegel Center? Marshall had Travis Mckie. Talk about a loaded basketball court. Best high school bball experience I've ever had.

Those first back to back Woodside teams (my bias is showing) and the Highland Springs team that i believe repeated right after Woodside were damn near unstoppable. Those King's Fork teams that Petersburg couldn't get by were excellent too.
