What happened at the end of the game? Anybody know?
With about 10 mins to go SB punted and had a chance to down the ball at the one but it went into the end zone. SB then roughed the kicker on a Maury punt three plays later, jumped offsides on 4th and two near midfield, and missed a tackle in the back field on 3rd and long around the SB 40-35 yard line. That allowed Maury to eat up over 10 minutes and take a knee on the one to win the game, 28-21.

I heard there was an issue after the game in the stands but I am not sure as I was not there.

I have no knowledge of that; I thought you were inquiring about on the field. I hope there was nothing in the stands.

Hampton University should not host a state championship for any level. How that has been allowed to happen is beyond me. Setting is sub par and locker rooms are trash. Exactly what does Hampton do to enhance the experience? DIII schools (ex Bridgewater) offer better settings and it is strange that a school like JMU allows HS showcase games but not state championships.

Watching the games I'd have to agree. These kids work so hard all year long to get to this game the venue should be special. Going to Liberty University made the whole experience really cool for the kids and fans. All State Championship venues should be like that.
