because seems like Fisher is going to eat up most of the cap space you freed up by moving Beasley. He's not going to be bringing the ball up the court, plus he already has a chance to compete for championships in LA.
If your going to get Fisher - it's going to take $. Probably more than another guard is worth to them at this point.
If you have LeBron James, Dywane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Derek Fisher on one team and don't win a title, I don't care if Marcus Campbell is your fifth player, hell you could have 5 more of him, you better win. I mean seriously.
play for the minimum is my point. He made 6 million last year with the Lakers and was an important part to that team's championship. LA hasn't offered him anything, but I'd imagine he's looking to resign around thatl - thats no where near the minimum.
Plus, I would put that money in the front court. There has been some talk about Mike Miller signing with them, maybe Rasheed Wallace. They seem like better bargains to me, espeically considering the team's needs.
and Miami knows how much they have to spend, and they arent going to offer above a certain limit to any player. They do have a roster to fill. Right now they only have 4 players and 3 draft picks
a great pick up for the Heat........They still have a hole to fill at the 5.......Bosh will be playing the 4 so there's a chance for one of the young'uns to step up......I think they'll get someone with some experience........There's been talk of getting Shaq just to have a wide body in there..........
I figure Shaq is headed to Miami. He won one there already and went to Cleveland now I figure he will end up in Miami and give 15 to 20 minutes a game here and there.
That would be an interesting move by Shaq. If He were willing to play for a lot less money than He would normally get , He could end up throwing KObe's " got one more than Shaq " comment right back at him at the end of next year.
