Can't say that word Christmas, might offend somebody. It's OK to say have a happy Labor Day weekend. Or have a happy Thanksgiving, or happy New Year, or even happy Halloween. But that holiday that comes on December 25th. You know the winter holiday as some call it. Can't say that word Christmas. And to think if it wasn't for Jesus there would be no holiday.

Name one person you have said Merry Christmas to that has been offended.

Haven't you heard? They don't like Thanksgiving either. I heard they want to rename it "Indigenous People's Day", but they already used that one for Columbus Day, so who knows.

I can't imagine the deadbeat socialists liking Labor Day. It denotes work, and we can't have that ****. Can't have Lincoln's birthday or President's Day. These celebrate the white patriarchy and slavery, .. even though Lincoln actually freed the slaves. Independence Day --> RACIST! Why, I have no idea.

Hell, there are few holidays liberals aren't screaming to abolish/change. Liberals destroy everything.

You literally are just making something up. I’ve said have a merry Christmas to dozens of people in the last week alone and have heard multiple songs using the word Christmas both on the radio and in the malls and no one is offended. Just totally fabricating something like a weirdo

Then what did you mean? That people should not be outraged by it? That it should be accepted or ignored? That we should pretend it doesn't exist?
Once again, as I posed to the OP, name one actual real person that you interact with that has bemoaned anyone saying Merry Christmas. It’s not a thing. Certain talking heads may be trying to make it a thing, but it’s not.

The "Happy Holidays" PC language has been normalized in all businesses and institutions where I have worked over at least the last decade or so. Not sure if it's company policy, it could be, but it is understood that formal communication uses it.

I know liberal atheists who wouldn't like being told "Merry Christmas". I said it to a girl at work one time and it pissed her off and launched her into a rant about how she was working on Christmas day, blah, blah. She was a "Jewish Atheist", whatever the f**k that is. I know sanctimonious academics who consider it low class to break this holy PC rule.

Really, you've no clue about this cultural trend?

You’re a complex person, I’ll give you that. There’s no war on Christmas. People say it all the time. It’s literally everywhere right now. It doesn’t hurt anyone to say happy holidays either.

Can’t believe I’m having this conversation with an atheist.

It's much more than that. The "progressives" are at war with western civilization and everything it stands for, and that includes Christianity. The problem is, what they would replace it with would bring misery and destruction.

Do Fayette County schools still acknowledge Christmas by name anymore? Serious question. I'm curious.
