was the patio built toward the end. The building itself is gone completely so the pool table section, which were the entire right side and the back, is gone.
All the bar building burned. I worked there from 85-90 and the patio wasn't there in 90. Don't know when it was added. I used to walk out the back door and pee on those two small trees in the back ground. Outdoor pissing was much nicer than the indoor pissing that drained into the parking lot. When you opened the back door to go outside there were usually a couple of ladies squatting in the dark that felt the same way as I did about the indoor plumbing.
And I leave to go home from Ricks just to pee.
But, I saw a dude take a dump in the concrete pee ditch there one time. Back against the wall. Feet on the side you stood on. Pretty well an all-time low for that guy, I'm sure.

got a DUI my first attempt to go to the Landing after a long afternoon drinkingin Left Field Lounge...by a Lowndes County Sheriff - pulled over for failure to dim headlights. Had my fog lights turned on inmy Accord.Jimmy Brown andthe factory box thefog lights came ingot me out of the DUI (improbable cause to be pulled over) .. Honda Factory wiringdefault saysHigh Beams cannot be on atthe same time as the fog lights are on.It was a hell of an afternoon watching the regionals with Palmero, Clark, and Brantley.Like many of you, I spent a lot of time partying at the Landing. I was amazed at the pluming technology in that damn place.
Being a Columbus native,we took advantage of the 50 pool tables and the Natural Light to-go (4$-6 pak in ice bag with ice) since high school.
I sure do miss that place. I actually drove past there today on my way to Mossy Oak. The Pony is still looking...well like a strip club in a pink building, that 30' Chrome Pony in front of joint is a Landmark if I have ever seen one!

Nothing like a Sunday six-er at the landing. Which would always turn into a little more with the draw string ice bag of to go beer. I stopped by right after it burned and took a brick. Pretty sure I lost it by now.
