Per Homer:

Helen is referred to with epithets such as “white-armed,” “long-dressed,” and “lovely-haired.”

Awesome that you pretty much know Troy never existed despite the German dude likely finding Troy long ago. My classical education tells me Troy is likely based on a great number of truths. Short of a “Welcome to Troy” sign from 3000 years ago certainty is hard.

And yes, the Greeks were white. But, hey it’s Hollywood so they should remake Zulu with the Brits being black and the Zulus being white.
I had no problem with Idris Elba playing Heimdall, but the reality is Heimdall was a Swede and not the Syrian “refugee” type. That said, it happens too often that they appropriate and replace the whities. Why not actually use some imagination at Disney and create some new princesses that are different races and have different story lines that still end up with happily ever after? I don’t want to go back to the 1950’s when white dudes were playing Native American parts. It isn’t realistic at all. The Last of the Mohicans was well-cast, as was Dances with Wolves. I wouldn’t expect to see a bunch of white folks in Coming To America - a movie that was also very well cast. The bit roles played by the Duke Brothers (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) from Trading Places was hilarious.

One thing I love about sports is the commies aren’t monstars. They can steal your hard earned money, but they can’t steal your athletic talent and your hard earned accomplishments. F em.

A) Create new characters. B) Find some great stories lost to time

Last of the Mohicans was a classic and believable.

Hollywood and the entertainment sector in general lacks creativity these days. That is reason number one why I didn't attend a movie in person in 2025.

You appealed to authority by stating that you are Christian. The only hurdle is proving that you are a US citizen. That doesn't marginalize American citizens. It is the lowest hurdle to cross.

I even gave a very simple example of how we can educate people in this country, and make it easy for them to get an ID. Leaders in your party think people of certain races don't know how to use a computer or get an ID. I would call that marginalizing people by saying they are incapable.
It is not just people of his party. Jeff doesn't believe certain races can get ID because he thinks less of them than other races. Now, what do we call that again? There is a term for it.

OT-speaking of movies, Netflix bid $83 billion to buy Warner Bros Discovery (incl HBO), which has been accepted by their board. Except Paramount Skydance has come in with an offer of $108 billion. So there is a bidding war, plus there are regulators that have to approve the sale.

I accidentally listened to a podcast last week where they talked in depth about David Ellison, the founder of Skydance. Turns out he is the son of Larry Ellison, one of the richest men in the world (Oracle). Skydance did the Mission Impossible movies among others. He has benefitted from his father's money but has run a movie studio that made big blockbusters and movies for streaming services, so he is in the business.

I knew I clicked on the wrong podcast when they started insinuating that Larry Ellison was try to buy influence by cozying up to Trump.... (Oracle was part of the group that bought Tik Toc)

Anyway, when you watch the business news they probably will bring Larry Ellison's name up frequently and now you know why he is involved.

MAGA is the party that attracts white supremacists. Only MAGA loons would label assisting marginalized people as racism. 🤡

Proved a failed, racist CFO and Bronze Tablet wrong too. It’s noteworthy that your derangement doesn't allow you to answer Best's question: What exactly did Biden do better that you love him so much and wanted desperately to vote for 4 more years of Joe?

We went to see Tron: Ares in the theatre. Nine Inch Nails did the score. The only complaint I had about it was that the music in the background never stopped, which was annoying. That isn’t a NIN issue. That is a production crew issue.

Grok:

Gunther Eagleman's profile (@GuntherEagleman
, real name David J. Freeman) is not a trustworthy source of information in any objective or journalistic sense. He is a highly partisan MAGA-aligned influencer and political commentator who openly promotes "America First" views, strong pro-Trump messaging, and criticism of Democrats, liberals, mainstream media ("fake news"), climate change policies, and related topics. His content is often presented in sensational, all-caps style to maximize engagement, focusing on outrage, conspiratorial angles, and unfiltered takes rather than balanced or verified reporting.Multiple independent sources and fact-checking efforts indicate frequent issues with accuracy:
  • His posts have repeatedly spread or endorsed debunked claims on topics like elections (e.g., 2020 "stolen" narratives), COVID/vaccines, climate change (calling it a "hoax"), and other conspiracies.
  • He ranks highly on Community Notes corrections on X (e.g., one analysis placed him in the top tier for notes debunking his claims), showing community-driven pushback on misinformation.
  • Critics across platforms (including analyses from sites tracking disinformation, anti-vax misinformation trackers like VAXOPEDIA, and NATO-related reports on broader propaganda ecosystems) describe him as part of networks that amplify misleading or conspiratorial content, sometimes tied to far-right or grievance-driven narratives.
  • Some outlets and users label him a "rage baiter," propagandist, or someone who profits from extreme MAGA engagement farming rather than factual discourse.
While he occasionally calls out what he sees as "fake news" from others (and his followers treat his takes as "fact checks" in echo-chamber contexts), this is selective and partisan—not evidence of reliability. Trustworthy sources prioritize evidence, transparency, corrections when wrong, and minimal bias; his profile operates more as advocacy/entertainment for a specific audience.

If you're evaluating info from his account, always cross-check with primary sources, multiple outlets (including those with opposing views), or direct fact-checkers. Blind reliance on it risks exposure to unverified or exaggerated claims common in high-engagement partisan spaces.

This guy is a sneakier version of Gavin Newsome. Republicans need to get their act together or we'll get one of these snakes with forked tongues as president. He is a far left progressive who served in the military in the gulf war and tries to act like he is just an ordinary guy. The Dems like to run veterans.

Interesting that I never mentioned race in any of my posts. I just said the marginalized. You were the one who assumes that marginalized only means people of color. Not surprising for a member of MAGA.
Interesting how stupid you are. Let’s recall, poor whites voted Trump. Hispanics voted Trump. The group that voted Democrat in large numbers besides elitist liberals was African Americans. You are worried only about the Democrat party fraud machine and believe African Americans are too stupid to know what is good for them since they overwhelmingly support voter ID. You don’t give a rats *** about poor MAGA voters. In fact, you believe they also don’t know what is good for them. But your concern is losing Democrat votes and that equates to your belief that Blacks just can’t come up with the ID.

Why does your leader call it Jim Crow 2.0? What group of Americans were targeted by Jim Crow laws created by Democrats? African Americans. So cut the I meant nothing crap.

pretty much time to put your insanity on ignore. Total waste of oxygen you are.

Catturd's profile (@catturd2, real name Phillip Buchanan) is not a trustworthy source of information in any objective or journalistic sense.
He is a highly partisan MAGA-aligned influencer and political commentator who positions himself as an "everyman" comedian with scatological humor, but primarily promotes "America First" views, pro-Trump messaging, and sharp criticism of Democrats, liberals, mainstream media, public health measures, and progressive policies. His content often uses sensational, meme-style posts, hashtags, and repetitive outrage to drive engagement, focusing on grievance politics, conspiratorial narratives, and unfiltered takes rather than balanced or evidence-based analysis. Multiple independent sources and fact-checking organizations highlight consistent issues with accuracy:
  • His posts have frequently amplified or originated debunked claims on topics like the 2020 election (e.g., widespread fraud narratives), COVID-19/vaccines (e.g., anti-mask and anti-vax misinformation), the Russia-Ukraine war, hurricanes, and high-profile events like the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago or assassination attempts on Trump.
  • He is identified as a "misinformation superspreader" in analyses, with accounts like his gaining increased engagement under platform changes, while credible sources lose ground. For instance, during a reviewed period, his account shared multiple false claims about elections and January 6, contributing to broader disinformation campaigns.
  • Critics, including media outlets and researchers, describe him as part of networks that coordinate hashtag manipulation, amplify conspiracy theories, and blend humor with misleading content to create plausible deniability when challenged. This includes ties to far-right activism and endorsements from figures like Trump, who has retweeted him.
While he sometimes critiques "fake news" or intra-MAGA disputes (e.g., recent posts calling out perceived grifters or bot networks), this is selective and serves his audience's echo chamber—not a sign of reliability. Trustworthy sources emphasize evidence, transparency, self-correction, and reduced bias; his operates as advocacy and entertainment for a niche, often profiting from podcasts and engagement farming.

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
"If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written: 'He will command his angels concerning you,' and 'On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone'"

Satan attempted to tempt Jesus by quoting scripture.

Yes, seriously.
A couple major reasons would be the lefts lust for abortions. It’s like you people get off on killing unborn babies. Another is lying. The left lies about everything all the time. One more tiny piece of evidence would be the lefts wide-open hatred of Christianity! Don Lemon and those other pieces of trash stormed a Christian church service! That is hatred against Christians and is in the wide open. Nevermind that it’s a criminal act as well…..
