It is regime change or failure. The Iranian regime was ruthless, killing and torturing dissenters. The heads may be dead but there is a large group of thugs whose survival requires the status quo. I hope whatever plans the US/Israel have to move them out of the way work. My fear is that spontaneous uprisal is not going to happen, so what is the alternative?

So, first off, I think I posted it here already, but Treasury Dept can track all kinds of Iranian accounts moving their money and a bunch in the leadership circle are doing exactly that. How is IRGC going to wage war against its own people with no leadership? We/Israel took a lot of those military leaders out, too. We have been bombing police stations.
With the Iranian leaders being indiscriminate with their missiles, they’ve pissed off quite of few of their neighbor countries. I tend to think they will be helpful on the ground. We had to have teams in Iran when we bombed them last Summer even though our government told us “no boots on the ground”. Only 20% of Iranians are supposedly loyalists to the regime that is currently getting blown to bits.
NATO is pretty useless when bases in their countries are off limits. All of these worthless Western European nations were up in arms over Greenland, but anti American when it comes to Iran.
Time to ditch it in favor of alliances with Eastern Europe and elsewhere.

NATO outlived its original purpose and its repurpose isn’t worth it. The Eastern Europeans are much more in line with American values.
edit: We should just ask Denmark right now, if they think they stand a chance against us, and just take Greenland from them. Western European leadership is just one big giant *****.
