You view a corrupt former Democrat pedophile protector as the beginning of your movement to take the country back from democrats? lmao

There is zero evidence whatsoever that Trump has protected any pedophiles (or that Epstein ran a pedophilic sex ring, he clearly did not).

There's plenty of evidence that you don't like Jews much considering you think Epstein was likely a honeytrap operation (by presumably the Mossad) and your comments on the reasons for the Iran War. I admit to not seeing that coming, usually I do!

Anyone who is still talking about Epstein really doesn't care about facts. Note all the noise, and there was still not A SINGLE PERSON in the files linked to criminal sexual behavior involving underage girls other than Epstein. Not a single person. This is Epstein's private correspondence, not stuff he ever thought would be public.

I cited to the ABC News article multiple times quoting the lawyer who has made tens of millions of dollars suing Epstein and businesses tangentially involved with him (those cases are meritless but often get settled for real money because no bank/large business wants the embarrassment of an Epstein trial). He said that (a) Epstein's scheme was overwhelmingly for his own benefit; (b) Epstein may have "trafficked" (the better word is sent) a few overage girls to a small group of other men for sex (this is at the worst prostitution/pimping), but it was not a big part of what he was up to; and (c) almost the entirety of Epstein's activities with famous people had zero to do with Epstein's illicit behavior and was him trying to cultivate influence in high society or whatever.

I keep saying this. Epstein was the political/academic version of a "jock sniffer." That was why he was badgering even people who didn't want anything to do with him (plenty in the files weren't actually engaging with Jeffie, he was trying to engage with them). He separately was a sexual predator, who take advantage of young women (some of age and some not).

It is what it is. I'm beyond humoring all the people who want to believe their own fairy tales about anything political, it's become a tiresome exercise. Social media has basically destroyed rational thought about politics, and instead humors that partisan idiocy of both sides (and both sides have true partisans trying to spin Epstein).

On a different note, @rillaman will appreciate this.

America and Public Disorder - Chris Arnade Walks the World

Went to an engagement party downtown yesterday. As we drove there, my wife talked about how it would be fun to live downtown and be able to walk to restaurants, events, etc.

Then we parked our car and had to walk 1 block to the party. Walked by 4 people openly smoking out of foil and 1 guy pissing on the sidewalk. She quickly remembered why we would never live in the city. Very low expectations of people behaving reasonably in public.

Trump in the 90s

I can recall President Trump when he was dating Marla Maples.

Mary Anne and I were in Atlantic City for some prize fight.
AC Convention Center had Michael Bolton on it's venue, who riding a wave of Top 10 songs. (before he lost most of his hair).
It was rumored that Trump and Bolton were both hot for Marla, she from Georgia.

So Bolton is singing along about 15-30 minutes into his act.

Center Isle Trump & Marla come down the isle arm & arm, Trump smiling like The Chesire Cat.

Bolton stops what he's singing and he and his band immediately go into, "Georgia On My Mind" !

Audience gave Bolton standing O.

Later she became Mrs. Trump 2 .

OK, so what happened to drain the swamp?

Look, they provided the Epstein material because Massie pushed the issue. If he didn't there would have been nothing released. Nothing. And that's why Trump keeps going after him and says Marjerie Traitor Greene and all that other childish ****. If they had their way those files would have never seen the light of day. Now Bondi looks like a fool every time she opens her mouth. It's embarrassing. Don't say most transparent administration ever when you were forced.

And I know Biden admin sat on them. I know. I know. I know. They sucked ***. We agree on that. We aren't talking about them, they are no longer there. If you fire someone because they don't perform, do you constantly have to remember them when you are assessing your new employee? No. You assess the new employee on their merits. Y'all are really struggling with that one.

You ho-hum one of the biggest coverups in US history. One involving compromised politicians all over the place. Have a little dignity and call a spade a spade.
A hoe is a hoe.

The more that previous emails and activities are found and disclosed the worse the Dems are found to have acted.

Go read dtrain’s comments about Epstein. I’m not repeating myself again.

Trump has tried draining the swamp. It’s hard to drain when his own party keeps voting for funds DOGE has cut. Have you paid attention to how many agencies and federal employees have been given the pink slip? Apparently not. Did you think the empire wasn’t going to strike back? It will take at least 12 years of non-Eatablishment Republican administrations to come close to clearing out these swampy issues. Sorry you are on the struggle bus with all of this.
Trump has cut The Swamp to the lowest level of Federal jobs census since the mid 1960's.

Just the facts Jack.

Didn’t take long. Anyone that criticizes Iran war is an antisemite. Bunch of cucks here.
Not antisemites !

Just Stupid OR childless.

You don't need Intercontinental missiles to deliver a Nuclear bomb, just open borders.

Yes, I believe when the Mullahs stated they had 400 - 600 K of 60 % enriched Uranium and I know it takes approx 2 weeks to change that to 90 % fissionable material.

You accuse me of TDS but you’re incapable of any criticism without falling back on your “F the left” crutch. When are you going to figure out there’s no right v left? It’s all the same.

Speaking of corruption:

Just a fun coincidence I’m sure.

The changing of our major cities in the US has been a gradual change under Democratic local politicians. NOT for the better !

Matt's old girl friend from Illinois wanted to move to NYC when Matt started with the NYPD.
She moved in with us in Manasquan (a 2 1/2 hr commute EACH way !). Which would have been like her commuting to Chicago from C-U !

Anyway, I had found her a nice job at Bloomingdales in a nice part of upper Manhattan, but she wanted to do it herself ! Found a job, average area (I would be wary.). So I rode the train with her the first 2 days to show her the way. Second day a bum is taking a leak on her building, she's freaked out ! So I report it to NYPD Traffic Guy, he looks at me like I'm crazy ! She goes to work. NEXT DAY she gets the train (2 minute walk from our house). Noon I get a call from Matt, "What did you DO?" I have no idea of what he means ! "Molly is going home !" She had gotten off at a Northbound Station, called her Mom to come get her ! Takes next Southbound train, gets off, won't talk to anyone and locks herself in her bedroom. Next AM her Mom and Grandfather drive up (900 miles !). Load up the car, Mom apologizes, 1 hour later they leave. Never heard from them again !

Now Matt's Wife is SGT in NYPD and carries her .9 MM everywhere she goes in NYC, as does Matt !

GOP approval of the war with Iran is very high (despite R voters likely to be those most affected by gas prices considering their concentration in rural/exurban areas and transportation type jobs).

Seems like the anti-interventionist right was not aligned with Rs/MAGA. Notably, they aren't aligned with Rs/MAGA on economic issues either, often favoring very government-centric approaches versus the more traditional free market views of the American right.

American politics would be better off if the anti-interventionist, economic left wing infotainment right (Carlson being the most notable) migrates - or in many cases returns - to the Democratic Party. Rs would need to replace them with some combination of educated voters with high incomes and working class minorities (doable but on a national level means hybrid conservative/populist type candidates, without too much of either).
I have a fb friend that I would have put solidly in the "Trump can do no wrong" camp. Last summer he was on a private plane with Tucker Carlson and they hit it off. He now is posting how Trump is Israel's b*tch on his social media. Fascinating. I am glad I was never bullish on Tucker/ Candace Owen types.

Bill O column:

Ninety years is a long time. In 1936, Americans were suffering during the Great Depression, and life was generally hard. My parents were deeply affected by what they saw as teenagers. Vast unemployment, hunger, fear. The United States was in trouble.

Therefore, many Americans did not care about the tremendous evil that was gathering strength thousands of miles away. Adolf Hitler had become the dictator of Germany and was ramping up his war machine. In addition, the Gestapo and the SS were violating human rights on a mass scale within the Third Reich. Jews, in particular, were targeted for destruction.

The governments of Europe, as well as the USA, knew what was unfolding. But the nations all looked away. Hitler had violated the Treaty of Versailles, which ended World War I, so Allied armies could have invaded Germany and destroyed the Reich. Hitler’s forces were not yet strong enough to prevent that.

But Britain, France, and other European countries did nothing. Hitler became bolder; he saw the weakness.

In the United States, a movement called “America First” emerged, led by aviator Charles Lindbergh, who actually travelled to Germany at the invitation of the odious Hermann Goring, Hitler’s second in command. Millions of Americans supported Lindbergh. Perhaps half of the voting public was content with allowing Hitler to kill at will, according to polls taken back then.

Today, Iran has replaced Germany as a frightening threat, and, incredibly, Europe still looks away, apparently not absorbing the fact that at least 50 million human beings died because evil was ignored in 1936. As George Santayana wrote in 1905: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Senator Lindsey Graham told me last week that before the U.S.-Israel bombing campaign began, the Mullahs were within weeks of developing a nuclear weapon. Yes, the Senator is a hawk, but his assessment coincides with UN nuclear authorities.

Every American should watch that interview, which is posted on BillOReilly.com. But they won’t. The left-wing Trump haters and the right-wing isolationists condemn the military action against Iran. They don’t really care that an evil regime might develop a bomb that could kill millions; they simply believe what they want to believe.

The ridiculous newspaper “Newsday” editorializes, “What are we fighting for?” Yes, the paper is ardently left-wing, but even it knows the action is to prevent Iran from acquiring nukes. But Newsday does not want to confront that possibility. Adolf Hitler would have loved the paper.

And it’s not just the treacherous media dissenting. Regular folks don’t want to pay more for gas and food. Iran is far away. So what if the Mullahs murder thousands of their own people and sponsor terrorists like Hamas and Hezbollah? That’s way over there!

This is not a pro-war column. The Iraq quagmire was a disaster. The Bush administration totally miscalculated. Vietnam was a crime in my opinion. The master of deceit, Lyndon Johnson, the perpetrator.

But today, the hard evidence is that evil men are close to achieving nuclear mass murder potential in Iran. Newsday and others might want to look away from that for their own delusional reasons.

But I won’t.

“Death to America!!!” and its Israel’s war? Wow, you’re dumber than I thought….
Trump has been interviewed many times since the early 80’s. I even posted one recently in this thread. His thoughts of how to handle Iran and the nincompoop policies DC had towards Iran have been consistent. This isn’t Netanyahu leading Fat Donnie by his nose.

I actually didn’t mind them some years ago, but never considered either a must watch. Anyone who has paid attention to their careers understands they are seeking the clicks and they are paid shills pushing phony propaganda from whoever will pay them the big bucks. Tucker’s an idiot. I’m disappointed with how Candace has turned out. She showed a lot of promise when she was young and has thrown it all away.

Muller just passed.
What I will say about Mueller today is that I am amazed at how coarse Trump’s post about hos passing is, along with some of the other righties. I realize this isn’t a Charlie Kirk situation and he must have died of old age/dementia, but I think dancing on peoples’ graves while the body is still warm lacks dignity.

I thought the Mueller Report largely exonerated Trump. Doesn't seem like he should have been on the "Rob Reiner list."

This isn’t “breaking” news. Perhaps the interview of Burchett is. We need a cognitive test for all these old *** carcasses and if you aren’t the elected carcass, you can’t run the elected official’s show because welp…you weren’t elected. Carmack can eat a bag of dicks.

I think several people had their lives significantly impacted for process crimes by Mueller. He also specifically wrote(volume2) in the report that the report did not exonerate Trump. Leaving all the Trump haters to further speculate and point to that as "evidence". I think he was a "swamp" guy by the end of his DC career.
Trump's post lacks decorum, but is nothing surprising. His response to RBG death was more presidential and she hated him. 🤷‍♂️

I think Weissman wrote volume 2 and Mueller was mostly a figurehead. Mueller was mostly a shell of his former self by the time he was brought in front of Congress.

I agree Trump’s lack of decorum wasn’t surprising. (Edit- I guess I just expected something less harsh from him.) I am surprised at some of the righties on X who are posting vitriol. With the exception of truly horrible human beings doing inhumane things, I don’t think publicly dancing on someone’s grave has any class. It’s OK to say “ding dong the witch is dead” in private and keep your mouth shut publicly perhaps until the funeral is over.
