Those wonderful long-term solutions have run their course. Now there are almost 8 million people in Arizona. Not long term thinkers.

Yes, more people using limited water causes problems. That's common sense. Something you are clearly missing.
Would you suggest extending the wall to surround Arizona, restricting the 700,000 people from Callie from entering Zona or enforced sterilization ?

I'd suggest halting new development, especially new development that is going to require outsourced water. I'd encourage development in places that have robust, natural water sources.

Instead of shrieking about "climate change" and/or "global warming" I would talk to people about the things that actually matter. Encourage people to move to areas that are more sustainable.

Massive Colorado population growth has also contributed to the problem. Colorado and Arizona had less than 1.5 million people 100 years ago. Now, close to 14 million. The growth has slowed significantly, thankfully.

Arizona has grown by 5 million people in the last 45 years. Not great planning, considering the lack of water resources.

"This marks the first time in over two years that the Arizona Department of Water Resources has lifted even a portion of a moratorium banning the construction of new subdivisions that rely on groundwater. The ADWR issued the moratorium in June 2023 after concluding that the Phoenix area’s long-depleted aquifer no longer had enough water to serve all the developments planned for the region for 100 years as required by the 1980 Groundwater Management Act."
Idiots at the top of BOTH States are responsible for reduced populations. in Callie.
and Col, if any.

My Nephew has just purchased a large home on a golf course below Ft. Collins to enable his Son at U Col pay in State tuition. Yes, I understand it makes NO economic sense, except the 7 figures must have been burning a hole somewhere !

According to Google AI

"The Colorado River Basin has lost over 27 million acre-feet of groundwater in the last 20 years—equivalent to a full Lake Mead—with 74% of losses occurring in Arizona due to accelerated agricultural overpumping. Research from ASU shows groundwater is depleting 2.4 times faster than surface reservoirs, threatening to dry up aquifers entirely by the end of the century."

Mariana Butte in Loveland? Love that course, if that's it. A lot of wildlife on that course. Hope he likes elk and bear!

Learning how to store water for regenerative agriculture is a coming idea World wide that as a % of land is still in it's infancy.

But worked on in several areas of low yearly rainfall. The Gobi, Sahara, and dry areas of India (after the monsoons) are having success in reclaiming arable land !

Golf courses with large water hazards combined with the millions of gallons to green grass are likely not helping.

You should refer to your statements several years ago.
You will see that you are arguing against yourself.

NOT current stats with current AG's and Directors of various Federal Law Enforcement assigned by President Trump are NOW accurately reporting crime.

Bye the bye as you rail against crimes or voter fraud now being Investigated that are 6 years old.
You should note that the USA has settled with General Flynn and his lawsuit that started the "Russia, Russia, Russia" disinformation campaign TEN YEARS AGO !
The settlement a reported $ 1,250,000. (AP)

There should be no time limit on receiving Justice !

Now drive down to Houston and scalp some ducats, as you promised !

Big Will ... I never argued that crime reporting is perfectly accurate. I argued that it was accurate enough that the 2023 and 2024 drops weren't about fake numbers but instead were about a major drop in crime. As we have seen, that proved to be right.

The thing is, a PD has more incentive to lie with the numbers going up than down. Sure, crime numbers are imperfect, but they capture trends well. 2023 to the present (2026 early numbers are also good) has seen huge drops in crime. Crime rates are now down to the levels they were in the 1960s ... before you were even a cop! Our murder rate may be the lowest its ever been, though we obviously have no real way to compare to say 1850.

The last known picture of Hitler outside his bunker are of him awarding medals to members of The Hitler Youth.

Do we now have The Ayatollahs Youth ?

The people claiming the Iran War is a disaster are completely insane. We've killed more generals in Iran than have had US servicemen killed in the conflict (with almost half our 13 KIAs having died in an accident).

That's the course, on one of the holes, not sure the hole #.

Unless he's lowered his golf handicap he's like most of us a hacker ! + 20 Handicap.

His Dad was another hacker, but would peruse the NY Times Sunday magazine for Golf Real Estate offers of special pricing golfing weekends. You would have to sit through a sales presentation for a few hours, but he left his checkbook at home and would feint interest !

No, under reporting crime fouled up the stats in early Joey like I said those years past.

That was that.

Now losing 3,000,000 bums/illegals is driving the lower numbers.

Stub Hub has some nice seats 2 for $ 200. Enjoy.

We built our house in the Texas Hill Country 3 years ago where there are water concerns. Our house value went to the zoom room because we bought early and picked the lot on a bluff with a view of the 18th green. We were literally offered double our build price in our first 90 days in the house. So, we are breaking ground next week on a rebuild in the same neighborhood. A few of our neighbors put in a rainwater capture system with 40,000 gallon tanks. We were able to get a bid we liked and are also doing it.

Also, our course uses treated waste water for the grounds.

When I said “sounds familiar”, Hitler Youth is exactly what I was thinking. This is certainly an act of desperation by the regime..

Tiger hit with DUI after motor vehicle accident on South Beach Rd, Jupiter Island, near his compound on the Island !

He was driving south on the 2 lane road ( 1 each way), passed a car, clipped the passed car with his SUV, car flipped onto drivers side.

Arrested mid-afternoon. Blew 0.00 on breathalyzer, so it's not alcohol.
Not sure if Florida requires blood drawn with a 0.0 reading, but never volunteer a blood draw unless YOU KNOW what or what you have not taken.

With his history he should tear up his DL and pay a full time driver !
Pay the driver to be available 24 x 7 for $ 250,000
It would be less than his RE taxes on his compound.

Yum Yum !

Sell for double and build where is rains sometimes, but not to make Texass sized flash floods !

It's not a taxable event if you follow IRS R & R's !

I worry about unending growth as well given the Colorado river is shared and some water is supposed to go to Mexico. I don't trust the local politicians as they would rather build and figure it out later. AZ has rules in place they have been enforcing about there needs to be a 100 year supply of water before construction can start. However, in AZ there are water rights attached to land that go back 100+ years. The areas which are already more developed have most of the rights to the local watershed and Colorado river water and are filling in the gaps with new construction. A new development in the wrong place is going to have a hard time proving a 100 year supply as it mainly would be ground water. But never underestimate politicians ability to agree to fuzzy math.

(Ca and Nevada don't have any equivalent requirement for proven water supply, approval is on a case by case basis.)

I think what likely is going to happen is the politicians will continue to approve construction and the compromise will be to take more water away from agriculture. Eventually we will get to a severe drought; they can't take drinking water from people so the result will be to take it from everywhere else. Doesn't seem like planning but only a politician like Trump, who is not a politician, would be willing to mandate a rationale plan for growth. Maybe you should vote Republican!

Just black bears out here. More concern about mountain lions in that area. A woman got killed by one near there a few months ago.

In October of 2025, Florida changed the refusal of a breathalyzer and a urine draw a Second
Degree Misdemeanors. Punishable with fines, jail, extended revocation of your dl.

The catch is that Law enforcement has to prove you were DUI. WITHOUT the findings from the breathalyzer OR urine.

This is tricky as the arresting officer has to prove operation, impairment verbal/physical tests/observation. A decent Attorney can confuse a officer not used to testifying or to be honest, just plain stupid.

So Tiger needs a Not Guilty from DUI , then his Attorney can argue the DUI arrest was not lawful and EVERYTHING can be thrown out.

What does Tiger need to do to prove his innocence ?

If he's not high on some CDS, but something legally prescribed by a Fla licensed MD, but just a lousy driver, who had an ACCIDENT and he was shaken up at the scene !
IMMEDIATELY go to the nearest Hospital and give urine AND blood drawn for analysis !

If he's high, get that 24 x 7 driver I mentioned and pay him $ 250,000 or so !

His Cousin takes care of the house when he travels. She's a Colo Lib and wouldn't go armed, but can bear spray work on lions ?

If he hires or his Company hires the right mouthpiece, then Tiger can beat this !

1. Checks into Hospital with concussion from crash.
2. IF Drug clean have Hospital draw blood, urine and their lab or independent lab analyze.
a. If drugs are in him are they legal/prescribed by MD or self administered ?
1. Legal do the blood draw/screen.
2. self administered no blood draw. Run with the concussion !
3. Lawyer has news conference with hundreds of news people to broadcast.
a. "My client had a motor vehicle accident, who here has never had an accident !"
b. "There was an animal in the road, that he swerved to miss." (there are all sorts of animals down there !)
c. now he's in the hospital with a concussion, but the Police put him in jail ! and refused him medical attention !
d. Tiger is contributing a million dollars to help something.
