I mean, you are implying that they are stealing it. And they would steal it. But it never existed in the first place. These "future investments" in the USA in the trade deals were just pure BS. Nonsense on paper.
The tariffs continue to cloud the Trump Presidency. Approval rating slipping into disaster territory. Not much support for the Iran War (I support it, think it's the right move considering that hideous regime, but Trump made no case for why the public should get behind it despite the impact on energy markets).

I think train has a point. Trump needs to state his case. There is no reason not to have a special Presidential speech to the public right now. It doesn’t matter if MSM covers it. He should make the case as to how the Venezuelan people are now free. How bad the Iranian regime has been for the US and ME since 1979. How they have murdered US citizens since that time whether by them or their proxies. List them out. List out how they mess with the ME, they had proxies in Venezuela. State what prices were before the war and let folks know that you understand prices have risen and it’s tough, but this is a once in 50 years opportunity to end this POS regime and free the masses of Iranian people from brutal dictatorship. Explain when they have successfully defeated this regime and the Iranian people gain the power, how much safer the world will be and how a free Iran benefits the future of Americans and their families. Specifically speak to Millennials and Gen Z.

Incorrect. A case was made from the get go and the public approved and continues to approve. However, that was a month ago. A formal update should be provided at the 4 or 5 week mark since that was the stated timeframe.

I think there's plenty of good reasons for attacking the mullahs and their weapons stockpiles, but the Trump Admin didn't make much of a case for it. Maybe they should have hired you!
I didn't argue that. I argued they'd impede growth in 2025, but that things would get better in 2026 (the war in Iran may change that). I overestimated their impact on growth, but growth rates were down from the Biden era despite other pro-growth/market legislative changes. How much of that was tariffs? Almost impossible to know. As for inflation, pretty sure that's gone exactly as I suspected. They've impacted inflation a little but not a lot (inflation isn't a great big picture anti-tariff argument).
