WVU to ACC will never happen unless UNC, UVA and Duke are gone.

WVU controls their own future here.

Regarding the rest. We will see how everything ends up.

Clemson's rise has made things interesting.
Need GA Tech to grow some balls.

Texas might have to send in Bevo to emasculate uga again.

Florida St vs Texas.
Has never been played.
Two Southernmost State Capitals.
Austin has them beat there.

Florida St/Texas hits a lot more than Florida/Texas A&M
All 3 major sports

70 years of trying to enter ACC. No go thanks to UNC, UVA, Duke. It's time to quit on ACC.

Greg Jacobs--a troll, calling WVU fans that post trolls. It is posters like Jacobs that ruined this site.
Now away from Jacobs trolling and his derailing as usual.

Much was written about WVU getting into the BIG 12. Oliver Luck played a huge role. Nehlen played a role. Others did too--in the end WVU sports were saved from being dropped down as what happened to former conference mates UConn, Cincinnati, USF.

No reason to pretend that several people were not involved in the move.

To say it wasn't the best possible outcome for WVU makes no sense. What other outcome was there that would have been possible at the time? None.

WVU is in a strong conference and soon that conference will have a new contract that will ensure WVU remains in one of the strongest conferences that exist and has the resources to compete at the highest levels if they want to.

Some don't seem to realize that many teams in the ACC, as the ones you mentioned, won't take WVU due to their stereotyping opinions of WV as a state. They all make fun of WV, and we've all seen them do it. Hell, even Virginia's band did it during their halftime show. They want nothing to do with WV, because they look down on the state as a whole. WVU could have the top football and top basketball program in the country, have multiple national titles hanging in the rafters, and these holier than thou pompous ******** from Duke, UVA would still not want to have nothing to do with West Virginia. SEC is proud to be rednecks, so that's probably the better option, if it were to ever come up. Hard to get there, but have to probably hope to end up there if Mega 20 team conferences are ever created. Would rather be with rednecks from Arkansas than an *** from UVA any day of the week. It is what it is.

The fans bases that I’ve always despised in this order are Penn St(obviously), Villanova and UVA/UNC are tied. UVA and UNC are so f’n pompous. I was at UVA and they got on Pitt academics at a freaken football game. I mean Pitt is not Michigan or anything but it’s generally a top 60 ranking. Weirdos. I hoop UVA loses every game they play in any sport.

Whatever happens you have to believe the university is on top of it.

The state deserves a seat with the big boys...

Flagship university in a state who doesn't have a pro team.
