Not gonna confirm anything, but he may be coming back home.
Think he had some losses to unranked wrestlers.. and he was a highly ranked recruit but not sure if he has same upside.. would be good addition to any programs but depends on the resource cost imo.

I think he would be an upgrade from Cotton and that's what we are trying to do, upgrade spots.
I have not seen much of Remy, but it seems like he is a round of 16 guy (which is good, we want AA's)

Think Cotton is roughly R16 lvl. Not sure what Ludington would be.. but his losses to UR guys kinda leans he won’t be one of those monster freshman recruits that comes in and AA right away. He would still be a good get for many programs but like I said I think it depends on resource cost.

If all the ifs are answered, he would be all Rutgers could ask for. But remember, Chapman went up a weight to face him and gave him all he could handle.

An upgrade from cotton? Cotton just beat Jude Correa, Harvey lost to unranked guys that cotton would’ve demolished. Now if you’re saying let’s bring him in for sure, Harvey is a dog and maybe coming back home will be great for him. But to say he’s an automatic upgrade to cotton is disrespectful.

Exactly. Lots of questions here. Did he peak in HS? Burnt out, homesick, injured? Either way, this caliber of recruit should not be dropping matches from what people are saying here. Maybe a fresh start will do him some good. Him, Knox, incoming recruits and a few others could change the prospects of this team.

R u saying Chapman bumping up a weight and giving Ludington all he could handle is a good sign? That plus his RS results kinda lowers his stock imo. If no resources needed please add him, it really depends on the asking price imo.

I was thinking the same. And someone posted above said, maybe he is in line to renegotiate NIL as Endeme is leaving. If he isn't wrestling up to his expectations, he doesn't have much leverage for an increase. I would think he might struggle to maintain whatever NIL he is getting this year whether he stays at Iowa or transfers out.

Ludington was like the oldest high school wrestler in NJ history. He was 19.5 and states last year…probably just struggling when he has to wrestle guys as physically mature as him.

Lundington is a freshman 184 pounder trying to wrestle 197 that’s why he’s had loses, he cant get out from bottom , he weighs in at 194 after eating all day wrestling kids that are cutting from 230. He wrestled Novak really tough and beat Anthony Harris who has some nice wins and cuts from 220 plus. He’s still a top tier prospect he just needs to go 184 or really bulk up Cassar style to 197 , he has the frame for it

Lundington is still the real deal , he’s basically bumping up a weight class this year bc he has no future at 184 behind Ferrari , he’s weighs in like 5 pounds under and is a true freshman. You definitely put out resources for him. He was the number 1 recruit at his weight coming into this year for a reason

Yeah but how much resources is my point. With every top recruit you wonder if they will come in and compete for titles/AA right away or will there be a learning curve. Some eventually get there and some don’t.

if He was wrestling 184 this year I don’t think any of us would be questioning him. Bumping up in college is no joke

When Gabe Arnold was wrestling up at 184, he took out a AA and gave Plott a close match. I get your point though. Mines was how much are we willing to pay to get Ludington and at what price is it worth the investment.

174 to 184 isn’t 184 to 197 guys at 184 are cutting from 200 guys at 197 are cutting from 230 sometimes

Your next post says “he may be coming back home.”

You lie so much that you don’t know where one lie ends and the next one begins.

That's crazy.Almost twenty as a senior in high school. Some kids are almost in their junior year of college at that age. This whole reclassing is insane . I also think it's eventually going to backfire.

I read an article that said it was a dispute over NIL money. Not sure if he is asking for more because he made it into the lineup or if they held back money they agreed to. The article didnt say. It just said he is no longer on the team due to a dispute over NIL money

Every time you post everyone reading this page realizes more and more how full of it you are. Total loser.
Ha! For someone who says he doesnt care what I have to say, you certainly seem like you do, by constantly seeking validation by trying to discredit me.I have cemented my name in RU Wrestling history...from today, tomorrow, 5, 10, 15,100, and forever You on the other hand are the resident Scarlet Nation sнit talker and Scott Goodales #1 brownie hound.Nothing more, nothing less.Great legacy. Anyway dummy, stick to talking smack and achieving nothing.

More news coming out today. Apparently Endene hurt his neck and doctors said he couldn’t wrestle. Brands bros did not like that and said if he doesn’t wrestle he doesn’t get any NIL, even though he was still coming to o practice. They had a team meeting to discuss it and that’s when Edenens girl went into labor so he missed the meeting, and then the brands kicked him off the team

Totally agree…gonna take some time for Ludington to settle in (wherever that ultimately is). Those upperweights are brutal for young wrestlers that aren’t sized right.

A lot of guys are very unhappy at Iowa with the Endene situation, Lundington is wrestling in the wrong weight class and it seems he’s gonna have his redshirt burned this year for basically no reason , very good chance we see him leave. I think Arizona state would be his first choice he has 2 brick memorial teammates at ASU and his hs coach Mike Kiley runs the NIL for ASU. I would give Rutgers a chance if he were to leave but it would be a long shot

Harvey is a 197. He's not a 184. The only way he goes this year is if he wants to go otherwise he will RS

He weighed 192 at the solider salute he’s a 197 because Ferrari is on the team. And since when do the athletes have a say in redshirting in Iowa ? That’s always been a Brands decision since day 1

196.4 for Wisconsin dual. So you are saying his certs say he's a 184? They won't burn his RS unless he's wanting to wrestle.
