In Nashville right now? I am leaving to go to the game at 3:30 a.m. but I have no ticket. I was just wondering if anyone has heard about the price of tickets up there right now? Thanks to anyone who can help.

But we thought better. Playing a highly ranked Kentucky team in Nashville. You know they are going to be coming out of the hills to see this game. Tickets will be outrageous.

I set my budget for 300 bucks and that's what I brought. Anything more than that and I figure I can watch it on my brand new Samsung 8000 LED just as well and beer will be cheaper.

The first person I talked to was a UK fan outside the arena. She wanted 175 for end line, upper bowl seats a piece.

The next person I talked to was a regular scalper. He had 2 and asked how much I'd pay. I said 300. He said he'd give me 2 for 400.

the next person I talked to was a Vandy guy. He had 2 really good seats around mid court, lower bowl. He wanted 300 per ticket.

This isn't the final four or even the NCAA tournament. It's a damn conference tournament championship game. It's just not worth 300 a ticket. Basically people looking to pay for their trip here and the tickets to the other games.

We went to the SEC Championship(football) game this year, which was suppose to be one of the biggest games ever and we got decent tickets for $200 each a few hours before the game. When we were looking for tickets on the street the night before everyone was wanting between $400-$500 per ticket.

Id say if they are selling for $200 each the night before, youll easily get in for what you want within a few hours of the game.

Beware of counterfeits though. My unclesgot scammed with2 counterfeits from a guy on the street to the 2008 SEC Football game for about $300 each. The fakes looked just like the real ones. My advice is if you find tickets for an amount of money that you dont want to risk just throwing away, make the guy walk to the gate with you to make sure you get in. If he is not willing to do that, then you probably dont want them anyway. Our guy was more than willing to walk with us.

As I said, this is a conference tournament championship game, not the final four or even a NCAAT game. 5 years from now, nobody will remember who even played in the game. What's the face value of those tickets? Simply people looking for you to pay for their trip to Nashville.

I had a Reb Buddy sell Saturday and Sunday lower level $500 a pop, X 3 = $1,500.

There were several thousand Blue clad fans, outside the game, and nearby...not going in. For the most part they were very congenial, it was their "spring break" deal.

After the gamenumerous KY fanswentoverboard complementing the Dogs. They could "feel our pain", so to speak.

Despite what took place I held my head high, because the Dogs earned it.
