Has anybody seen Tyler Fullerton play some?

Gene says he committed to us for baseball.

Allegedly, he reminds the coaching staff of CT Bradford. I don't know about all that.

Just going by his stats, I'd like to see him get his batting average up next year, but it does look like he has pretty good speed- 21 stolen bases.

Also, judging by his size, I'd expect him to be a lead-off, number 2, or number 9 hitter and unless he has a lot more bat speed than I'm thinking, I don't expect him to be a power guy. He is a RH hitter, and that's not ideal for a lead off hitter.

I have no idea about his defense or arm strength.

He had an offer from MSU and UT, but then his other two were from Western Kentucky- a very good mid major baseball program right now, and Middle Tennessee. He was hoping to get an offer from Vanderbilt, but I don't think it happened.

I would say he looks like a decent pick-up. I doubt he will be an instant starter, but a guy that I expect to be a role player as a freshman and sophomore- pinch hitter, pinch runner, possible defensive replacement and then maybe down the road start in the outfield.

didn't list Vandy among his offers. To be totally fair, I'm not sure which one is right, but I suspect that BDJ is probably right. I am a little biased though towards BDJ.

I know he wanted one from Vandy because that was the hold up between him committing earlier in the week.

Cohen obviously likes speed. And we stand a great chance to get two more guys that are pretty fast in Mookie Betts from Nashville and Todd Wilkerson from Huntsville. I like both of them better than Fullerton personally. Betts hit in the .500's as a junior and Wilkerson hit 11 home runs and had 40 stolen bases last year as a junior.

After that, I hope the rest of the recruits are pitchers. Good pitchers to clarify.

Mookie can run point if needed too.... He would be a great pick-up.

that anyone that is named Mookie is going to be a good baseball player.

And judging from Mookie Blaylock, maybe a good basketball player to!
