I have never seen a "mic man" work out well at any sporting event, but this guy is particularly bad. He is usually dressed in ratty jeans and a sweatshirt or tshirt, he reads note cards (poorly), and I can rarely understand what he says due to the way he handles the microphone (like he has never done it before). I would prefer we not have "mic man," but at least get him some clothes and some practice time with the mic.

conversation we had and he and I dont agree on much. This mic man thing we agree wholeheartedly.

I think there is room for something like this. Just needs to present himself better and whomever is controling the volume needs to have his 17ing hearing checked.

It really has nothing to do with a lack of crowd energy. That'll be there in time, as the season progresses. I like the new seating and grand entrance, but every gimmick we have is a f*cking joke. That mic guy comes off as a struggling douche at open mic night and our PA announcer sounds like he's from the circus, which I guess is fitting. I hate to give 'em a hard time, but it's the truth.<div>
