has anyone mentioned how good GT's D-line is?

michael johnson at end will be a top 10 draft pick, and vance walker, DT, is probably also a first round pick. richard, the other DT, is no slouch.

this could very well be the best DL we'll face all year. i don't know about the LBs, but our OL better play the game of their lives if we want to have a shot at putting some points on the board.

7dust made note of this, saying its probably a better d-line than Auburn's.

I thought Auburn had the best defense in college football. At least that's what I've been told as to why we looked so pathetic against them.

but two first round picks, with one a top 10? johnson is going to kill us - he's 6'7", 250. our musical tackles better be ready. their tackles are 290 and 293, not huge by any means.

lsu is still loaded this year too. i don't know about the rest of GT's D, but i think our OL will have a very tough time saturday, which of course means a very tough time for our offense as a whole (yet again).

rushed for 122 on 31 carries. VT had 199 yards rushing and didn't throw much at all. GT's Dline looks good on paper, but they haven't dominated anybody yet....

I saw GT live last weekend. Their DL is good, but not as good as Auburn's.

If you can get past the first level against GT, you can really pick up yards. GT's LB and secondary are slow.

VT's quarterback is very mobile, but he had time to throw the ball, before he tucked it and ran 90 percent of the time. VT's wide receivers are really young and didn't do much all day, but VT was able to run the ball outside the tackles almost at will and inside the tackles regularly. The times the found a hole, they picked up nice gains. AND VT's oline is a big part of their problem this year.
