Has anyone "official" debunked the Petersen rumor yet?

Things may fall through but there are just too many people saying he is coming. I mean he might balk if the assistants don't get paid right so I can see it not working out but if he is not coming and never was it has to go down as one the worst rumors to ever live.

as hot as this rumor is (heating up on the boise state boards now too) he will have to deny soon or it will appear that is is going to happen. maybe just working the details or maybe just holding the announcement until after the sec championship tomorrow. tightest search i have ever seen.

...he said you can put to rest the rumor of him being named the coach TODAY. If you read his follow up, he is all but confirming this thing.</p>
