has anyone read jackie sherrill's book?

while it is about the 12th man at texas a&m and his accomplishments while the head coach, it's not what most people would consider the jackie sherrill book. the book he is writing about his entire career is nowhere near being done.

but with that said, it is a great read even if you dont like a&m. state fans will be able to project their sherrill memories at state into this book and draw a great deal of enjoyment from it seeing as though he spent his entire career, not just at state, trying to piss every one off that opposed him. i honestly think the people at u of texas hate him 1000 times more than "mississippi" fans have ever dreamed of. </p>

Anybody that went to the Cotton Bowl will agree with that.

I grew up in Texas and will always think of Sherrill as the A&M coach before I think of him as the State coach.
