Has baseball play suspended?

It was raining pretty damn hard here in God's country whenever they put the tarp over the field. It might ease up eventually but it looks like its here for a while right now.
It's raining there now, but the heavier rain maystart toeffect Starkville in a little bit. I would expect that the tarp may stay on for another 15 to 20 minutes.
I'm sure im in the minority here, but I would move Brownlee to right, put Jaron in center. I would move Collins to first and let Daryl Norris have his shot on the mound. He is a solid pitcher, but that would also mean taking his bat out of the line-up. It'll be interesting to see what they do though.</p>
I don't think we're going to play tommorrow if weather.com is worth a darn. But Sunday looks good.
I would say 4:50 or 5 would be a more likely bet for game play to resume. There may be intermittant showers throughout the rest of the game.
Another band has popped up and Starkville will probably get another period of heavier rain. This switch between lighter and heavier may go on for a little while. Going to be a pretty wet rest of the ball game if they end up finishing it tonight.
Cohen even mentioned him as a possibility for a Sunday starter against left handed heavy lineups. I kind of like him out of the bullpen though.

....Jones was cruising. The only run he gives up is one that swirled in the wind and rain in the 1st inning and the guy gets a freak triple.

If Reed of Pollerena are in the game, I would have to believe that we are only down by one if that.
definately the worst all around game in just about all areas except for maybe defense. Still one inning left though.
Busby can't throw strikes- he had trouble in the scrimmages with that as well. Of course it's, hard when the umpire doesn't have a consistent strike zone, but still.
