Has Gabe Jackson actually played in this Senior Bowl?

I've had the senior bowl on since I'm in a market that wasn't showing the MSU basketball game. I admit that I haven't been completely attentive, but I don't think I've seen him in there.

Anyone else actually see him playing? What's up with that?

He played the first series, but I quit watching after that

so don't know about the rest of the game.

I think I saw him on the first 2 but not after that that I can recall. I was flipping between that and the B-ball game though so I may have missed it.

He probably didn't have much to prove in the game - more focused on the practices with NFL coaches. I guess.

He started the game and faced Aaron Donald the majority of the time. He did great the first couple of series but Aaron got the better of him a number of times for big plays. I saw that Aaron bull rushed Gabe into the back field and almost made the sack. Aaron beat Gabe a number of times (from what I gathered). The matchup was an attention grabber for a number of scouts on twitter. It seems that the tweets mostly spoke of Aaron beating Gabe when they weren't just mentioning how good of a matchup it was.

Aaron Donald is 6' 288 lbs. He played at Pitt and won the Outland, Lombardi, Bednarik, and Nagurski awards this year. Plus ACC defensive player of the year.

I didn't watch the second half after the first two series when I didn't see Gabe playing.

He was in on an alternating basis with other left guards....played a lot, but not much can be done to stand out unless you mess up on pass blocking and let the QB get sacked by your man....played as much as any other guard and did well.

If Aaron were 6'2" 315 he'd be a top 5 pick. By far the best player I saw on Pitt's team in the Compass Bowl last year, although Aaron Morris did a great job against him.
