Has our recruiting hit a lull?

Pretty big visitor weekend and so I'm not questioning the staff's efforts. But the lack of new commits has me feeling antsy. Struggles on the trail? Waiting for things on the horizon? Help me feel a little better here. I don't follow all that closely.

I'm not a Nebraska fan so I don't know the particulars of your situation...but it is slow for everyone this time of year. The kids who have not yet verballed are generally kids who have planned to take most if not all their official visits before deciding and/or plan to announce at an all star game/signing day. Generally speaking, if a kid doesn't announce prior to their senior season don't expect them to until after it...they have their own season to concentrate on and unless they are down to say a couple schools it is hard to find enough open weekends to visit all the schools they want to see.

What is your feeling on your big game Saturday?
Well I'm pretty sure we won't get pushed around this year. The prior seven years have humbled my fandom a bit. If you were to ask me the same question 8 years ago (even with sparty ranked higher) I would have have give a bit of a cocky answer. But I expect sparty to come in with all the confidence in the world and more than prepared.

With that said, I think the three keys to the game will be:

1) if we can hit a couple passes down field - we haven't really been able to do that this year despite our receivers getting open (sparty's coverage has been suspect)

2) if sparty's banged up OL plays like a healthy one. They have offensive weapons (more than Michigan) but if our DL is making plays in the backfield it negates that advantage

3) if sparty can contain our return game. Their special teams hasn't been their strength and if we win the field position battle (and at least on of the other twob points) we win

Those are my thoughts I guess

Should be a good game. Michigan's rolling right now, and MSU seems to hang on. I can't drawn a conclusion after OU/Texas last week.

Do you know what lull means?

A Michigan fan is a Nebraska legend...
And I'm a graduate assistant.

I want my pimp status back
