Has there been any talk about possible games in Jackson?

Yes C34 is working with Homeland Security and the USDOT to come up with a master plan to pull it off.

Anybody remember the NFL preseason game of a few years ago?......

It was an utter disaster. Parking, traffic control, stadium entry.

Had people treated that game like they do games in Starkville...

It was an utter disaster. Parking, traffic control, stadium entry.

....there would have been way fewer problems. I was flabbergasted by the number of idiots trying to pull into THE PARKING LOT 30 minutes before the game.

We got down there 2 hours before kickoff, had some beers at Que Sera and life was good.

Everybody loves to blame Jackson for the hayseeds thinking they'd get front row parking right before kickoff or that were butt hurt by having to sit in traffic. But, there were shuttles and satellite parking all over town for a reason.

The traffic after leaving the MSU campus after Croom's first game was way worse than that NFL game in Jackson. This being in a town with virtually no population and having had years more practice at game day crowd control.

Hayseeds gawwwwn be hayseeds, I guess.

That could have been part of the problem, but that was a cluster17 from the start. I left Crossgates in Brandon 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff, and was sitting on the interstate between the Fortification exit and Woodrow Wilson as they sung the national anthem on the radio broadcast. We could see that Woodrow Wilson was gridlocked between 55 and State Street so we gave up and went home.
