We don't have room with what we have already. But I'd be willing to kick another to the curb for Stephenson.

if stansbury is going after stephenson he must be 100% confident that we won't be caught doing anything wrong or he must be completely stupid

Stevenson? That would suck...seriously. I havent ever heard a single good thing about him besides his obvious talent for scoring. A far worse rep than even Sidney.

I am not feeling this one either. I know we aren't a program where we should cherry pick top 5 talent but Sidney made sense - he was from MS.

Not too fired up about this guy. I get taking the risk with Sidney, like DS said, because he's a MS guy.

Yet he has offers from Memphis, Baylor and Georgetown. I think that Isaiha Thomas is coming at him hard at Florida International. I feel pretty sure that our staff thinks that he won't qualify since they backed off of him about 6 months ago. He's a Rivals.com top 15 national player and a 5 star. Since he's from Starkville and we're not recruiting him, even before we signed Sidney, I say we aren't worried about him.

be the "in" that would make recruiting Stephenson logical. However, my concern about him is how much he would be playing for the 2010 NBA draft. I realize there is the same concern about Sidney bur Sidney has alot of players on the team that are older than him and that he obviously respects i.e. Varnado and Osby. Stephenson would be coming in only knowing Sidney. Taking all of that into account if he came we would have an unreal combination of talent and experience. has anyone seen him play? I assume that he is good enough to push for a starting spot if he is talking NBA.

That could be Stansbury's "in" with Stephenson. Todd Myles helped us with Ervin and I think the northeast connection with Vernon Goodridge.

Can. he. play. basketball?

Jordan fought teammates. So what if he turns out to be another Jamont Gordon.

We have to take what we can get here at M-State. and that includes the driftwood 5 stars.
