Has this dumpster fire ruined March Madness for you?

After watching this team the last few weeks and especially tonight, I have a real bitter taste in my mouth for basketball right now. I just don't have much desire to watch the NCAA tournament right now, and I hate that because this is always one of my favorite times of the year. Hopefully it will go away after a few days of not having to watch us play (i.e. stand around on the court and confuse fans on whether we're an actual team or just stand ins for the other team's practice).

Anyone else feel this way?

March Madness is my favorite time of the year, and the results (or lack thereof) of our basketball team will not ruin it. Our team often plays uninspired basketball, and because of that, I really don't care if we make the NCAA Tourney. I find it to be difficult to pull for this basketball team. Don't get me wrong, I hope we win every time we step on the floor. However, when we lose, it doesn't bother me. I've accepted it, and to be honest, I almost expect it.

It is frustrating to see the talent we have in our starting 5, but talent does not equal effort and leadership. Right now, we lack effort and leadership.

When I saw the teams we beat and lost to, I knew that this year's team is a team that plays to the level of its competition. Since the SEC is weak this year, I figured that since about early December we weren't going to be NCAA tournament worthy.

If MSU somehow is invited to the NCAA tournament, we should decline the bid.

I almost flew from CO to NO for the tourney, and am very glad I didn't. I don't intend to watch another basketball game this year, am not renewing my Direct TV basketball plan for next year, and will find better things to do with my time. Weather is moderating here, and it's time to get the ATV out.

because i live in the center of texas, i see very little bulldog coverage. i'm somewhat removed from the day-in day-out of following the team; besides that, when I was in school, we had our first trip to the big dance in a long time and ended up losing to Eastern Michigan. I'll be looking at that bracket come Sunday night and there'll be a part of me that says "if we had some gumption, we could beat this team...that team..."... but that'll go away shortly and I'll be making the bold predictions guaranteed to be bulletin board fodder.
