Im looking for information on the Hattiesburg MSU alumni Association. I haven't been able to find anything on the MSU alumni site or on facebook. Does anybody know if they even have an active Alumni association or not, and if so who is their president or contact guy.

Thanks for any information you can give me.

Yeah I found the listing on the AA website, but there is no link or contact info.

I guess I will take your advice and call or email the MSU AA.

There's apparently a little known city ordinance that prohibits a gathering of supporters of non-USM college athletic fans where the number of those attempting to gather exceeds the number of USM fans likely to gather within the City of Hattiesburg. When they hit fan #11, it was over.

I went to a Senior Sendoff a few years ago.....they talked me into giving my address and writing a check. Never heard from them and the check was never cashed. Don't know why it's not more active. I'm willing to help re-organize this thing if nobody else around here is gonna do anything with it.

May call Jimmy Abraham and just ask what the current status of it is.</p>

I'm willing to help reorgainize and get involved with the young alumni between 22-35. Not sure how old you are but I'm in the young alum demographic.

With our football team playing in Hattiesburg in a few years, I think its important that we begin building up our alumni base in Hattiesburg/Petal/Oak Grove. We have also had a number of athletes from this area sign with State over the past few years.

Alumni is alumni. You are gonna be around every age, but you guys should definitely try to do something about this. I would help if I lived there.
