I just saw it today, and there were two knockdowns in that fight that will be on highlight reels for years to come. The last shot that ended the fight in the second round knocked Hatton out cold for a minute or so.

a brawler who doesn't defense well. The difference is that Pacquiao and Mayweather are fast enough to punish him if he doesn't cover up. That's how he lost both fights. He lunged in with his left hook and Pacquiao ducked and countered with a hook that landed flush five times in the first round. Hatton has made a career of fighting off-balance lungeing (sp?) in and smothering fighters. Kostya Zyoiu (sp?) and Paulie Malignigni couldn't handle the pressure. Pacquiao is too elusive and too good at counterpunching an off-balance attack. Mayweather, Sr. taught Hatton right. Hatton just isn't capable of changing. Personally, I admire his guts and have enjoyed watching his fights. My hope is that he rebounds with a good fight.

I thought he was dead last night. You're right about his tendency to dive in head first, and it cost him both fights. I'm not sure if a change in styles would have mattered last night, though. Pac was just so much faster than Hatton, and demoralized him from the opening bell.
