Have any of you golfers seen the Galvin Green rain jackets and pants?

I've seen this Swedish brand at some of the high falootin clubs that I visit and it's outrageously expensive. Some of the jackets I've seen in pro shops go for over $400. I wonder if the brand is that good or if it's simply overpriced. I'm looking for a lightweight rainsuit for summer. The one I have doesn't fit anymore since I've shrunk. For $292, I can get this one on sale. Seems like pissing money away to me.

They LOOK sweet, but wouldn't know the quality. Side note: I always go with short sleeve rain top for the summer, rain gloves help, a simple waterproof baseball type cap, pull over rain pants and two extra towels in my bag --

I have not. To be honest, I am down on rain gear for golf. It is even more miserable wearing rain shirts and stuff as it doesn't really keep you dry anyway.

On a serious note, I don't play a lot of golf in the rain these days. I do have a simple rain shirt that the sleeves zip off to a vest which is nice cause otherwise that thing is like wearing a sauna. I did invest in some rain gloves this winter which I really liked.

Oh by the way, I ended up buying the Ping G, just got it in Wednesday and haven't even had time to break it in yet.

You all might as well be speaking Martian. Now if you want to talk about the feasibility of the 3 back getting across the formation to the X side slot from a bunch formation, and his ability to catch a deep pass on the next play, I'm all game.

Wish I could provide an opinion RPJ, but being a Trumpster, I'm just a redneck, deplorable racist, and our kind don't golf. Ask me about wife beater style T-Shirts, and I can comment all afternoon.

I had one summer that it rained all the time, and I didn't have a rain glove and my normal glove got worse than just having no glove at all. I stopped wearing a glove that summer because of that and have just never used one since then because I got so used to the feel that wearing one felt strange.

I can't do the rain gear, you get wet anyway either with rain or sweat from the rain gear so it never seemed to do much good for me.

I'm going to bet you will love that club. I love both my Ping driver and 3 wood.
If we're going to bet you have to give me strokes. Ha!

Glad to hear you like your ping equipment. I've needed an upgrade for a long time.

The M2 is the best driver I've ever hit. The ball has xomething to do with it. I have the new ping Glide weges and I really like them. I have last years model but not the new 2.0 model.
