people up north are more racist than people in the south. You would never see anything like this happen in the south.

Boston is more racist than any city in the South, always has been. You should read what they did to Bill Russell and his family, and he won double digit championships for those ********.

I've been to 13 major league stadiums. Fenway is the only one where I just got a vibe people really didn't like me. Can't explain why, maybe the accent? The only other place I've been where I felt hated was Montreal. But I think they hate Americans in general.

You know judging by all the N-bombs they used. People from Boston are a different breed and extremely obnoxious

They must all be from MS. At least according to KT on Blitz all racists are in MS.

ha, funny you mention montreal. the gf and i went up there last fall for the montreal pop festival and for the most part the people were very unfriendly. it was like the the worst of the east coast stereotypes. and i live up the east coast. the city itself is pretty awesome though. i still dream about smoked meat sandwiches from schwartz's deli though.

Now with that said I want to go on record that I do not view everybody in Boston or up north as racist. I say that to avoid what I have experienced being from the south, and esp MS, where many yankee's assume you are a member of the KKK just because of where you are from. I have observed that in many if not most northern cities there is a higher percentage of racists than in the south. Listen to the stories of black southerners that moved up north in the 'great migration' and many will tell you that they faced much greater racisim in industrial northern urban areas than in the rural south. There is currently a new great migration where those folks are moving back home in droves.
