As tarnished as Bobby Petrino looks right now his coaching record is light years better than Greg’s record.

I’d say we eliminate both names from consideration at RU and do a national search among everyone else who may be interested in coming to the banks.

I was going to get pissed off over the mere mention of Petrino, but the humor generated by it has been high quality. A mouseketeer? Well done.

The problem with Petrino is he has no interest in recruiting. If you have players already, great. But the longer he stays at a stop, the worse the roster gets. The next guy here needs to be able to recruit before anything else.

If there's one person I know I would never want coaching at Rutgers, it's Bobby Petrino. He's been a college head coach for 15 years and he's only been to 5 New Year's Day bowl games. He's not good enough for Rutgers.

Petrino and his agent would rip us off. 5 year contract at big $$$ to be a CEO type HC who doesn’t like recruiting? No way, no how.

And yet his Quals as a HC are far superior to Greg’s. Petrino and Greg are old men to today’s HS recruits imo.

If Brohm was available to us he’d probably be the top pick for what we need.

I’m starting to lean towards Leopold from Buffalo unless someone better is willing to take the job. Hope we’re calling Lane Kiffin. He would sell tickets and knows how to win at this level.
