As of right now, harder than 2025, but we'll see who randomly over or underachieves. Not that that may matter if Lebby is still our coach.
2025 has turned out to be not so difficult as we thought it would be. But 2026 looks fairly favorable. Missouri may be in a new coach. Vandy will regress. Okie isn’t good & Venables isn’t a good coach. And Auburn is garbage. Texas may be in a new coach & if not Sark will underperform And of course Mississippi may be on a new coach.

Yeah, maybe. I'm just looking at 7 of our 9 opponents being ranked right now and then Auburn will probably get a better coach. But Vanderbilt probably regresses, Ole Miss and Missouri might too, so it's up in the air. I see no reason to expect Lebby to win enough games on that schedule to reach a bowl.

Mississippi & Missouri will regress with new coaches. Unless 1 of them hires James Franklin, and 1 of them might.

Florida is the only currently unranked team we've played out of 4. We still have 4 games left and 3 of those are ranked.

So 6 out of 8 this year, assuming those rankings hold. Missouri is the only one that might not.

With NIL and transfers, every one of those teams will be different next year, as all teams will be every year. The old days of looking at who was graduating and who would be back the next season are done. In the old days you easily speculated your FR QB last season would be a little better, now you can go pick out a 5th year veteran SR if you want

Our home schedule is not that bad. Vandy, Mizzou, Auburn, Oklahoma should all be winnable home games,

Very tough road schedule though.

There seems to be a pretty good chance that OM goes 11-1 and has ZERO ranked wins. LSU is gonna lose two more for sure. And Oklahoma has 3 straight against top 20 teams starting this next week.
If we could beat them, and they end up 10-2 with ZERO ranked wins. And 1 score wins against UK, Arky, OU, LSU, and Wazzu. There’ll be some discussion on their spot.
