There's one glaring reason why bunting Parks was absolutely and totally wrong today: the two runners on base were both there via the base on balls.

Why do you let the pitcher off the hook? Make him prove he can throw strikes.

Also, Parks' OBP is .528. When odds are he's not going to make an out, it's dumb to simply give them one. Add in the fact that if the guy does throw strikes they're likely to be fastballs down the middle (to avoid walking them loaded), and it's absolutely clear that Parks should have been swinging in that situation.
