Haysi had 3rd and 12 and threw incomplete at mid field and Galax got called for targetting and Galax loses starting Safety and Haysi goes down to score and went for 2 to win it.

Those refs down there favor the home team. I don't care what anybody says. Galax 135 yards and Haysi 3 penalty's for 30. Congrats to Haysi.

I don't understand the complaining about the refs. They are VHSL appointed from a very wide geographic area. The call at the end with 2.45 left in the 4th was an obvious unsportsmanlike call, any person at the game will tell you that. To win the game Haysi had to go another 60 yards then get a 2 pt conversion.

Again the game boiled down to Galax couldn't do anything but run Dixon. And he ran it great, some of the players said he was not hardly as fast as Peoples but two times harder to bring down.

The farther you go in the playoffs being one dimensional really hurts. Also I don't think Galax accounted for the speed Haysi had at WR. #3 for Haysi out ran and out juked Galax's secondary a couple of times.

This is actually the 4th time Haysi has been to the State Semi's in the last 20 years or so

In 93 they lost to Giles 8-0 at in a classic game
I think 2005 lost to Giles again
Last year they lost to Alta Vista 34-22 which by the way has been the closest game Alta Vista has played since early last year

I wasn't there so I really don't know. If is a big word. I just know what we went through last year. I have one for y'all, you can use if y'all want. IF your aunt had balls, she would be your uncle. That's funny crap right there.
