Yeah, I suck at computers..<div>
</div><div>Anybody know of an HDMI cable I can find for a fairly decent price that connects to a MAC without an adaptor or whatever? Or do I have to have an adaptor? I'd preferably like one with some decent length to it. Yes, I've looked on Amazon, I just suck at computers.</div><div>
</div><div>Thanks in advance.</div>

the 5 dollar HDMI cords and the 60 dollar ones are exactly the same. HDMI cords are the biggest con in electronics. To hook it up to your Mac you'll need a display port to HDMI adapter.

An HDMI cable is an HDMI cable. Don't fall for the any of the marketing ********. Consumer Reports has consistently reported that there is virtually no difference in quality between any of the HDMI cables on the market.

If your Mac has the Mini DisplayPort, it looks like a really small USB basically.<div>
</div><div>I bought my converter from the Mac Store, but you can get alot cheaper ones online: LOOK HERE</div><div>
</div><div>Looking at the first 2 pages, I don't seen any longer than 15ft. What I would do regardless of the length you want is to buy a cheap HDMI cable of whatever desired length and then one of THESE. That way you could use the HDMI cable for something else if you need to, DVD player, etc.</div>

Monoprice.com for all your cable needs. 15 ft HDMI for about 7 bucks. Longer if needed. They also have the adapter you need for about 6 bucks.

make sure your mac is new enough to have sound going out the mini-display port... think it started in 2010? not sure of the date, but apparently mine is the year just before that, so I got HDMI out that doesn't carry sound. Sucks...
