Interesting. If you put yourself before your team/employer, then they don't really like that. Football teams, especially, put a premium on loyalty to the program and risking the health of your team and financial loss due to forfeitures is more risk than they are willing to take.
I would be interested to see his contract and language within. I’ve never worked the Midwest so idk if they are at will within a privately owned corporation or not but, maybe the NFL has certain criteria directed within the league owners is my concern. If they do and he can afford a corporate wrongful termination law group in this current climate he would have a very good opportunity to cash out on the Viqueens given their liberal state 
I would think he has the financial means to pursue a wrongful termination suit. Are they going to start giving surveys after the summer period to see if you engaged in any risky behaviors that may affect the team, spelunking where bats were present. Shooting up with your buddies but only had one needle. If he doesn’t have the other recommended vaccinations and they didn’t ask and still hired him, what makes this vaccine different? I’m onboard with having the vaccine available to anyone that wants it, I also support an adult making their own mind up and taking on the risk.
Mmm more like it's going national if you don't take the death jab your going to be out of a job.
Admire this guy for standing on his principles. It is a free country after all. Just need guys to stand up and fight for it.

The other things only affect him, not taking the vaccine could cause the team to have to forfeit if there is a Covid outbreak.
He could exercise his rights, and he did. The team can also say, ok you are free not to take the vaccine, but we are free to fire you!
Do y’all not realize it’s legal to make a vaccine a requirement of employment? If they required and he said no then guess what? Fired.

One of my best friends is in bad condition right now with heart problems after taking it. Said he is also having bad problems with his legs not working right.
This vaccine is much worse than the actual virus. A virus that is so deadly they had to include cancer deaths, car wrecks, drive by shootings etc etc etc all in to drive the numbers up.
Your much better off getting the virus and developing natural immunity to it

I'm sure he's going to be the one laughing in the end after the 3rd, 4th, 5th etc vaccine comes out and everyone is dropping like flies. All the while those people dying from it will be blamed on a *new* variant

Not exactly, that’s why I used those examples. All three can lead to contagious diseases. I know it’s extreme examples but I’m really not liking this forcing it down people’s throats. We don’t kick people’s kids out of school if they chose to be anti-vaxers. We employ a bunch of the kids that were raised by anti-vaxers at this point. If people have reservations about this shot it’s totally understandable and shouldn’t be grounds for termination, all just my opinion. I hope people start fighting this in court.

Has anyone followed the news lately? Pharmaceutical companies choose profit over people on a regular basis. I understand people not trusting what they are hearing from these companies. States are getting ready to get a huge payday over drug companies lying, or playing loosely with the truth.
Correct. I predict more will be fired for refusing vaccinations in all kinds of employment situations.
We all saw in Fauci's emails that their was 2 treatments that worked great but publicly he denied that they worked at all. Hydroxychloroquin and Ivermectin. They are off patent of course and no money to be made by the vampires and the gov to control you.
Clearly walking around you see those who cannot think for themselves and want to be told what to do by their master.
Put that mask on that does nothing to stop a virus but causes bacterial pneumonia!! Yes um!
Take this experimental treatment that we don't even call a vaccine that has killed every test animal eventually that's injected with it! Yes um!
Stay at home and don't work while the whole country is falling apart because nothing is getting done! Yes um!
Better take this injection or you can't buy, sell or work! Yes um!
I'm not a lawyer and do not have any type of legal background, but this is my understanding too from talking with attorney friends of mine. This is yet another another of the tough decisions that the pandemic has forced employers and employees alike to make ... nothing easy about any of it, imho.

Fwiw ... I know a Radiologist who has seen lung scans of patients who have been infected (were briefly hospitalized and subsequently released) with permanent scarring on their lungs. He said he was alarmed by this. It remains to be seen whether such issues will create problems later and/or shorten expected life span. There's no way of knowing now ... but you do not want to be infected with Covid-19.

Apparently, a lot of people around here get their news from YouTube and Facebook.
...I had a friend who was vaccinated and got COVID w/ the Delta strain. Luckily, it meant he was just sick but didn't need to be hospitalized. No different than all those people in our lives who get the flu or chicken pox vax, but still get one or both. I've gotten flu several times despite the shot, and I'm one out of 20% of people who got the chickenpox vax, but still got chickenpox.
Last point, NFL coaches being dismissed over getting a shot are the definition of First World Problems. They are rich. They can afford to not take a salary for a year. I'm imagining explaining to my family why I lost a year's salary because I declined two shots. What a dumb hill to die on - burning a mound of $600k in cash out of principle because somebody on YouTube told you it was right thing to do. I can't afford those conspiracy politics personally.

If you cant afford it... you cant afford it but this coach turning down the all mighty dollar for his principles is pretty damn commendable in todays world.
