"On the above date and time I officer David Brackett was at a check point when a blue Suzuki Verona with three black males pulled up. While asking the driver for ID I could smell a scent of what I believed to be marijuana coming from the car. Mr. Denis (sic) Thames was a passagner (sic) in the vehicle and as I spoke with him he stated that he had smoked a blunt. Mr. Thames was arrested for public intox."

Thames was arrested at 3:30 a.m. last Saturday, May 30.</font></font>

What an idiot. First for riding in a Suzuki with five people, but then incriminating himself for no reason. Hopefully he can run a fade route or a slant. Thats all that matters in the end anyway......

...but how can you be arrested for PUBLIC intox if you're traveling in a car? I mean, what if the rest of the people in the car were trying to do the right thing and get this obviously intoxicated individual home safely? I think we can spin this...
