He has Alabama ties which is a requirement...
He has shown to be a good defensive coach
And after coaching with Crooms, he obviously sees the importance of having an offense than can score
He also has stated how many problems the spread causes for a defense....
I think he would be a solid choice

i wouldn't worry too much about croom getting fired. even if we finish under .500 he will end up beating someone highly ranked that what will save his ***.
and to also hire a real OC.

What about Chris Hatcher at Gerorgia Southern? He runs a wide open offense and has had success wherever he has gone. He is young and also has HC experience. I think he could come in and do well here.
