Maybe these guys know how to close out a game that you have won. You know run the clock out stuff like that.

Wow, good one! just curious, did you see last season? Had a few close games that we seemed to pull out... lost one that we could have won too, but not because the head coach couldn't run out the clock.

What else you got? Too much California recruiting? Not enough 500 mile radius guys? No JuCos? I suppose you could've used any of those in your witty remarks as well...

Lists like this make me laugh. This is just click bait ******** and is one writer's opinion based on his own private likes and dislikes. It has no more credibility than if one of us on here posted a list of their favored coaches.

There is no such thing as real sport's journalism anymore. It is all now just slick, commercialized, bandwagon jumping, flavor of the month promoting, and ratings pandering, nonsense.

Mark my words... if Nebraska goes 10-2 this year in the regular season and makes a major bowl, all of a sudden the sport's "journalism" world will be pumping Riley like they knew all along that he was a winner

I agree. It is funny because so many "experts" have started to turn on Riley a bit. A few years ago he was the smart guy that could do more with less...now he is the guy that will be lucky to win 7 games in a weak division.

10-2 and lots of experts will be touting him again.

I don't think that is true for this list...at least his top 20. Nearly all the guys there had experience and some had down years last year but still highly ranked...Patterson and D'Antonio come to mind.

Until he came to Nebraska he was an afterthought. Experts find something nice to say about perennial also-rans.

What a crock. As soon as he was hired the experts were calling it a great hire and were surprised Nebraska got him, since other big name schools were unsuccessful in luring him away. It wasn't necessarily the splash hire, but the experts thought it was a good hire.

How you have "Nebraska" and "Fan" in the same screen name is beyond me.

You must have slept through the entire last season. But have fun hanging onto one game from two years ago.
