My guess is it will be a little of both. Theres alot if shady stuff that's gone on lately in Memphis recruiting in the past year or so.

I am not worried about this at all as far as State is concerned. I was talking to a member of the MSU faculty a couple weeks ago that is "around" the athletic department and the scuttlebutt within the department is that the NCAA has already privately told them what our penalty is going to be and it is just a year probation and a couple of in home visit reductions. Not sure why the NCAA is waiting to make the announcement but nobody in our athletic department is the least bit worried.

I am hearing that we should hear from the NCAA over the next two weeks and that

the matter should be behind us. I am hearing similar to you on the penalties.

If Forde's story is not about Devinner.....

.....then it is a lazy piece that doesn't tell the whole story!

It is so obvious......nonprofit in Alabama that accepts donations (launder money to him for services and for helping).
Man from Alabama and now Murfeesboro now connected to Memphis athletes. WHy? WHo is his connections in Memphis? Also and lastly, why is Devinner only talking about Redmond? He has other Memphis/7on7 players that have very nice rides. Nicest cars in the school parking lot.

Yep, and there are some notable programs that have been doing bidness

with Fat Bastard a lot longer than us. We were a small fish.

De'Vinner said on a radio interview that another BCS school offered (rumored UT) Redmond $60,000 but he isn't naming names, unless that name is Mississippi State. My guess is he tried blackmailing someone, failed, and now he's just SOL.
