He tells them that auburn has been listening in on our hedset channel. #21 sees this and tells auburn coaches to be quiet. the ref then tells chizick that he is being accused of listening to states channel and chizick balked at the notion, tells his coaches to remove the hedsets and play resumes but watch ted roof. he knows he was caught puts his finger up to his mouth to say shhhhh and laughs. the 17ers were cheating!!!

I was at a bar and couldn't hear audio... and was completely distracted. This would be awesome if true.
of course we can never prove AUBURN was listening, rather SOMEONE was listening. my guess is when relf was sacked somone on the auburn side forgot to cover their mike before celebrating and all our coaches heard it.
Anyone have this clip? Is that even likely? Not sure how the technology works for this, but don't we have our own headsets where it would be hard to do that? Auburn doesn't provide our headsets do they?
Coaches headsets are wireless and they aretransmittedto a big box on the sideline where they are connected to another box in the pressbox through a phone line...so if someone hacked that phone line its possible.
easy to do no. possible ABSOLUTELY. I remember Cal playing at Tenn. a few years ago and something similar happened. oh and they have the technology, and auburn grad now runs the most successful technology company in the world. I know it may be a stretch but I am pretty good at reading people and when the ref told chizick... he made the typical liars face, the same one I make every time I'm pulled over for speeding.
I'm not putting together a protest caravan to Birmingham. I'm very interested in what Mullen says about this. Hopefully he'll explain what happened in detail in one of his interviews.

He kept us headset on, then when called out, he says "ask them!", pointing to the auburn sideline. He then points at au and back at his headset, while telling the ref what appears to be "I heard them on my headset."
Further, when the ref first goes over to Mullen, eltoro Freeman, who just made the pplay, gets a close up. After the ref goes over toward Mullen, JUST PAST Freeman, Freeman gets his sidelines attention and does the finger over the mouth to say "shush".

This could all be just a big coincidence, but a lot of the evidence points towards Auburn listening in. And to top it off, Chizik's reaction when quizzed by the refs adds more fuel to the fire. He's about as guilty as you can look.

Likesomeone said earlier, we went from looking over matched to driving on them and actually looking like a #16 team.
